Just hope you are happy with the Roethlisberger jersey you bought from me

no problem, it's all good. Love me some Big Ben...anyway, hope everyone cast their ballot for Carlos--if not, here you go...

I was doing some reading after looking at these posts about him and his possible induction and the general vibe I got from a couple sites is that he'll more than likely make it, but it won't be first ballot or anything remotely close to that. More like one of those guys who gets more and more support over time until getting in somehow.

I assume he gets in on one of his last years. Once he becomes “one of the last of a generation” types. The league leading IP, 250+ Ws, longevity, etc. Not many guys will get close to some of his counting numbers who are pitching now, as some of the best in baseball. That will help him as time goes on, imo.

I don’t foresee as many Scherzer/Greinke types coming along either

Gotta be the guys that dominate at 98 for a decade then learn how to pitch at 92 forva good while...few can

And most of these guys are missing more than a year due to TJ surgery. Thenhard throwers are rarely going multiple years healthy.

If there's one gift that never stops giving, it's the sheer incompetence of the Mets. The owners suck, the bullpen is a hilarious joke, Calloway is way over his head as a manager, Vargas wants to get in fistfights with guys in the press and the GM texts orders to take guys out of games. It's getting to where they're the one team I follow almost as much as the Pirates, simply because there's no telling what insane tabloid story is coming out of there on any given day.

I heard it was 17-13 final. Nice way to show the Brits how the game is played.

Meanwhile, a major league record was set tonight. No team had ever been shutout back to back by a 13-0 score in history.

Fernando Tatis Jr.....most exciting to watch player in MLB. He’s incredible. He’s Javy Baez but bigger, faster, better range and stronger arm.....only 20 years old.

Angels can’t catch a break. 1st time all-star Tommy LaStella just fouled a ball off of his upper shin and he couldn’t get up. Had to have broken his leg

Dumb to not have Gallo in HR Derby...maybe he declined

Fwrnando Tatis not at ASG is a mistake. Not sure I’ve seen anyone with his range and arm at SS....ever

Went to the celebrity softball game and futures game yesterday. Both were really fun. The Play Ballpark at the convention center is really cool, too.

Anyone heading up tonight or tomorrow? My husband and I will be there for both, and my brother and nephew are joining us for the game Tuesday.

I saved up big and did all that at Cincy in 2015. The HR Derby was incredible (sat in LF row 5) Hometown Todd Frazier won in the first year ever of the new format.

ASG was awesome....honored all great Reds of past and then had greatest living 4 come out on the field (Koufax, Bench, Aaron, Mays)....then Trout went deep.

For a baseball lover like me....it was simply incredible.

Cleveland should be rocking.

Angels threw a combined no-hitter against the Mariners in the first home game since Tyler Skaggs passed away. It was also the first combined no-hitter to be thrown in California since the day Skaggs was born. Today, the 13th would have been Skaggs 28th birthday. Wow.

And the A’s pushed out the Tribe after last night’s games for the second wild card spot.
