Is it something you have to adhere to strictly, or is cheating one day, or a few meals a week okay?

The thing about keto is that if you do cheat, and have a carb day "blowout", it's probably going to take a few days to reset as you go back to keto. I'm not giving you advice, or direction, but in my own experience, when I fall off the wagon I feel like total dog shit. My body does not do (crappy) carbs (bread, grains, etc) well. I feel very bloated/miserable after eating that stuff. Tastes great, pay for it shortly after.
How long has you been doing keto? What benefits have you seen so far? How easy is it for you to stick to it, i.e., is it easy to find quick, simple meals that you like with enough variety that you don't get sick of them?
In my experience, it is best to eat the non-strict at night, usually feeling normal by the second morning (36 hours).
If I go a few days off (like Christmas time) it takes 3-4 days to get back to normal.
IMHO, if you know you are going beer or grain or sugar, heavy fat prior to (French Paradox) and lots of greens the day after; I find it helps recovery.

Few months. More alert, higher energy. Not necessarily a weight loss type eating plan (if you're not exercising) but it will shed a lot of fat. Works great with IF. The main reason I switched is that I'm a carnivore by nature. Love the taste of the crappy carbs (not all carbs are crappy, just processed ones) but man do I feel it. Don't think I'm celiac but they (carbs) just don't agree with me.
As with a lot of "outside the box" eating type plans, you will have to be creative. Unlike my girlfirend, who flips her lid if I try to sneak chicken into our eating plan more than once a week, I can eat things like chicken, steak, salmon, etc on a daily basis. I don't need a whole bunch of variety.
I'd do a little research as I'm sure you'll be able to find some creative/variety type keto cookbooks.
The whole beer and whiskey being grain thing is the biggest holdup I have to something like this. I do need to cut down on my alcohol consumption, and I have been doing a good job of it since the new year started, but I'd hate to feel like shit for a few days every time I decided I wanted a beer or some bourbon.
Yeah, that type of eating, for those who like to imbibe, sucks. I'm not a drinker (used to be) so I can feel ya, if you like to partake in a beer or two.

In addition. Just remembered Gary Taubes, David Pearlmutter, Robert Lustig, William Davis.

Agreed on Taubes. Not overly familiar with the others as I tend to gravitate towards Wolf & Sisson.
Anyone still getting jacked in here?
I'm doing ok, but nothing significant.
I've recently been binging on Joe Rogan podcasts and he's always mentioning Alpha Brain. Anyone ever try? It's rather pricey, but I'd still like to give it a shot for the hell of it. Reviews all over are positive.

Still working on it and its going well. Def getting much stronger but also the weight goes with it. Starting to look into how to exactly do bulk and cut phases.
I'm noticing significant changes now that I'm lifting regularly. Mostly in my legs and shoulders. I'm losing weight, but my clothes are fitting a bit more snug. I'm really hoping I'm not going to have to bump up a jacket size as I stocked up on a suit and blazers over the last two years.

Yes.
I'm rather skeptical when it comes to supplements. The majority of them are bullshit, but this one has me interested.
Just done with yoga to see this thread bumped.

That is 100% BS and Rogan is a conspiracy theory idiot.

I remember looking into this awhile ago and coming to the conclusion that it is bullshit.
