A person with the effort, skill and dedication to pack a turd in a balloon is not to be trifled with!  A condom would have made a lot more sense, but then if it isn't difficult it's not worth doing.

If they aren't working at Amazon, they should be....

Just as long as they washed their hands thoroughly afterwards...

"FUCKING DIE YOU FUCKING PIG!!!" - throws turd balloon - (to his friend), "Hey, hold my spot, don't stop the riot, but I've gotta go wash up before I forget."

I'm trying to find an update, but last I've seen is he was flown out but still alive.

It sucks. He was clearly walking away from them towards his car. Who knows what he was thinking. But that doesn’t warrant being shot 7 times, either. Why couldn’t they have just grabbed him to the ground? But we’ll see what else was going on.

It’s hard to believe he’s going to live.

Once again, had he followed orders he probably doesn't get shot.

Body cam video should be interesting, but this is a Darwin award.  You're walking away from a cop who has his gun drawn, presumably ordering you to stop.  You get into the car where the officer probably can't see your hands....

One of the local reporters saying as of midnight he was still alive. In serious condition in a Milwaukee hospital.

Officers responded to a family dispute. The victim - Jacob Blake - was there but supposedly wasn’t suppose to be. There’s apparently a warrant out for his arrest.

Why did the police let him get to his car? Why not tackle or taze him first? Either way he definitely is an idiot for reaching into his car while cops have guns drawn.  Another dumb news story to hear about for a week while people scream racism.

Ironically, they were probably afraid of the optics given current events.  And then probably overreacted when they thought they saw him reaching for something in his car....also because of current events.

Me, personally, a cop pointing a gun at me tells me to stop....I stop and make sure he can see my hands.  That's not white privilege, that's the privilege of not being a moron.

And now we know why he refused orders.

He really thought he was just going to walk away and drive off?  Like I said, Darwin award.  Doesn't make the shooting justified, but if we're being honest the guy is culpable in getting himself shot.

Past criminal record, not listening to the police, walking away from the police...none are reasons to be shot by the police.

But here on the OC, it’s “he gets a Darwin Award for being a moron that’s for sure!! Oh and can you believe people were rioting in anger after the incident? Fucking thugs!”

Be better, fellas

Yea, lighting a car dealership on fire and rioting is definitely a reasonable and acceptable reaction to someone getting shot by the police.

I'm 99.99999% sure he doesn't get shot if he cooperates and follows orders.  0.0% chance the cops are just going to let him get in his car and drive off.  Yeah, this moron should have tried to be better, fella.

His actions increased his chance of being shot from 0% to probably like 50%.  That's Darwin territory, and that's a fact.  And putting all the blame on the cops really isn't helping people to not get shot by police.

No one is saying he deserved to be shot.  Please stop with your dumbass loser false equivalencies.  His actions - his choices - directly contributed to his being shot.  That's just as relevant to this story as the gross negligence of the cops.

Maybe the problem is the fact that the police defaulted to the use of deadly force?

I think the larger issue is the use of deadly force and how that is more often than not, the default solution instead of other techniques.

Would a taser or other non lethal tool been better in this situation than to shoot him 7 times? Also, 7 wow, that seems like a lot. Why did he default to shoot that many times?

You’re a legitimate moron.

Yes, that’s shoot someone 7 fucking times in the back because he was driving away. I mean when instead of just letting him drive away and then you put a warrant for his arrest (and he’d be in a ton of trouble), you choose to shoot him 7 times in the back, you are definitely making the right decision. At least according to the morons on here.

You’re more upset about that than you are that another cop KILLED an unarmed black dude for not listening to them.

“If he would have just followed the cops orders, he would be alive!”

Yeah, tell that to George Floyd. Oh wait, you can’t.
