I'm just not feeling the Christmas sprit and excitment .... how is everyone feeling?
Why?
I'm feeling pretty good about the holidays already. We've been watching Christmas movies, the tree is up, gifts purchased.
Bah humbug.
I'm great, my shopping is almost complete. Xmas music can fuck right off though.
Loving it. I hate traveling during the season, but seeing all the hotels, airports and different cities Christmas decorations always gets me in the mood right after thanksgiving.
I went to my Dad's house last night, and he poured me a cup of eggnog. Sitting in there in the living room I grew up in, the taste of that first sip made me feel like I was suddenly experiencing all the Christmases of my youth. And he hasn't even put the tree up yet.

I just spotted Christmas merchandise at Costco and became angery.

I did buy 4 boxes of tree lights during the first week of January (when they practically give them away), so that's taken care of). :)
