11.6.1 Off-Campus, In-Person Scouting Prohibition. Off-campus, in-person scouting of future opponents (in the same season) is prohibited, except as provided in Bylaws 11.6.1.1 and 11.6.1.2.

Wife and I hit 24 years on Jan 1st. Yes, our wedding was on Y2K (Jan 1 2000).

Why is this extraordinary? I have convinced a woman to stay with me for 24 years and counting.

That was the same day I met my Wife. Will be married 22 years if we last until Veterans Day.

We met Y2K day. I proposed on July 4th the next year. Got married on Veterans day the next year. We are both Veterans. Kept it on the holidays. My Neice was born the same year we were married. So it's all easy to remember.

Friday afternoon I sent out recruiting emails to several bigger schools for my distance runner.

A Friday afternoon email and in next two days I’ve received reply emails with great interest from Syracuse, N.C. State, Kentucky and Pitt already.

This is pretty damn exciting

I'm 95% sure my stock options from my previous employer will be paid out within the next 30 days. Totally unexpected. 

Nice. Hope it's big money.

It's not what I'd consider big money, but not insignificant. 

It will towards my house down payment fund. Long way to go tho.

Wednesday, disgruntled that I never hit a hole one one…. Sunk an albatross on a 598 par 5. 

It was a total shit shot. Drove about 280 (awesome for me) and hit a 3 wood worm burner down a parched and draughted fairway fairway for my second shot and went straight up into the air and what I thought was the back side of the green. I was sure I lost the ball as therewas a raveen on the back side of the green. As I drove up my the green, a ranger was yelling me that it was in the hole.

It was a TOTAL slop shot, but I’ll take it.

I was sure I lost the ball as therewas a raveen on the back side of the green. As I drove up my the green, a ranger was yelling me that it was in the hole.

It was a TOTAL slop shot, but I’ll take it.

I’ve had several 2’s on par 4’s and ball rolled and hit flagstick on a Par 4 295….never an albatross though. I has a 16 inch putt on a short par 5 as my closest.

(I’ve had several worm burner/skulled shots turn out pretty good for me in the past)

Saw a video on tiktok yesterday of Tiger in his prime land a 184 yard in the rough shot inches from the hole, with a PW.

I said "well, thats 4 iron distance for me, and I probably would have worm burned it, so we're close...."
