Niners screwed themselves from the jump, slinging it all over the yard, when their strength is McCaffrey and the running game. Even on the first pick Purdy threw he could've checked down to McCaffrey and they would've had it first in goal, at a minimum.

The "system QB" label is still very much in play with Purdy. Put him in Chicago, New England, etc and he's an average QB.

Rats were pretty pissed with their self-created "disrespect" in being underdogs in this one. But I guess whatever motivates you...

Brock Purdy MVP… LOL.

That’s drove me nuts most of the year. Elite weapons and a great system…..but great defenses show why he can’t run the table through the playoffs.

It’s hard to question anything the Ravens do

Still don't think Lamar is elite. If teams can keep him in the pocket and he has to try to read a defense, forget it. It's that bullshit backyard football crap he plays, running around like a little kid, until the defenders lose their receiver and they're wide open. Problem for opposition defenses is that there's nobody fast enough to contain him.

Plus, I think he has an advantage against NFC teams, who don't see him enough. Teams like the Bengals, Browns & Steelers who see him 2x's a year have a pretty good feel for what he does. Those games are usually quite a bit closer.

McCaffrey should be MVP. Why does it have to be a QB

I don’t know why Mostert is also getting a ton of love for MVP. He and McCaffery have a shot at Top-5 total TD seasons, all-time.

McCaffery does so much more he is a clear #1 between those 2, but Mostert should be ahead of these trash QBs.

Yeah, take CeeDee Lamb from Dallas and watch what happens. Maxx Crosby.

I think it’s Lamar’s to lose. If they finish as the #1 seed he’ll win it. But they play Miami on Sunday so maybe Tyreek gains some ground.

Donk's bench Russell Wilson for financial reasons.

Injury clause. If he can't pass a physical in March they owe him $37 million. Could also mean they're moving on from him but not a dumb move.

What if he gets hurt on his own?

Unless he has a super crafty agent, I'd think there would be some wording regarding "non-football related activities" (cough-Kellen Winslow-cough).

And Antonio Brown is officially back to his 2019 pre Covid crazy twitter days.
