Choosing to commit tax fraud doesn't make taxes voluntary.  A teacher should be able to understand this, especially after it's been explained multiple times.

Donating $3 to the federal election commission is voluntary.  Paying the taxes is not.

Thanks for the tax lesson, for the record the voluntary part of the discussion was the fact that businesses could choose to sign up for the new plan or continue with the old way. Thus to sign up for the new plan was “voluntary “

There was no "voluntary" choice of two plans.  Taxes are not voluntary.  What you're referring to has nothing to do with paying taxes but was simply a new program for reporting [a.k.a tracking] tips.

The fact that you continue to connect this to tax liability - as you did again just a few posts above - shows you either don't know what you're talking about or just really struggle with reading and writing.

those were two different conversations.... the whole voluntary thing started out when i said they could voluntarily choose between the two plans because people were bitching about the new plan for tracking tips.  The new plan for tracking tips was a voluntary plan.  NO ONE WAS FORCED TO USE IT.  Since people cant read or choose not to, they decided to respond about weather taxes are voluntary.  Then we started a whole new conversation about how people choose to report their taxes or not when paid in cash and how some may benefit from the new plan and some may benefit from the old plan.  Still other people continue to spout off about how taxes arent voluntary.  Yes i got it taxes are not voluntary and I never said they were.  How they report their taxes on tips and POS purchases was a voluntary new program. 

The conversation went further and people were saying it was a tax hike and I said it was a tax hike because most people in those industries underreport their earnings from my experience from friends and family who are in the service industry.   See below straight from the IRS.GOV  "Voluntary" program.

This all just to deflect attention away from geeblock's imaginary thoughts that nobody has ever bitched about Trump and/or Republicans, despite the existence of threads doing exactly that. Geeblock is just a habitual liar, or maybe suffers from selective amnesia, or maybe even deals with some issue because he's somewhere on the spectrum. Two of those deserve some allowance of tolerance towards him, the third scenario deserves merciless mocking, derision and pointing out where he's lying. As we do.

I would do it for my own son too. But it’s funny that he ran around denying he would do it and saying no one is above the law. A lot of people eating crow defending him.  Nice little decade long pardon that covers him for crimes he MAY have committed, probably protects sleepy joe as well.

.....'protects sleepy Joe' ....... is exactly why he did it.  Likely protects the entire Biden Inc crime syndicate for the tens of millions of dollars gained in the influence peddling/extortion/money-laundering/tax evasion scheme.  Disgusting.

im literally talking about right now with the current cabinet postings.  And again you dont read.  I said nothing about people saying great things about trump.  I said it was pages and pages bashing the dems for something and SILENCE when GOP does it, or for example instead of just saying yea thats a shitty pick, you for example will dig up someone Obama appointed to give us a what about burger.

I don’t think she meant that people are claiming all their tips and paying all their taxes. Common sense tells us that isn’t true.

She is saying that they are breaking the law by not claiming all their tips, that taxes aren’t voluntary

English isn’t that hard is it?

I do like the idea of DOGE. But how can it have power to do anything other than point out where waste and corruption is? What happens next, and who will "handle" it?

OAN is for the dipshits who think Fox is too woke because sometimes, some people say stuff critical of Trump. In other words, the perfect landing spot for a guy whose entire political career can be summed up as "he kissed Trump's ass constantly".

Trump had awarded the soon-to-be ex-fiancé of his son (and Gavin Newsome’s ex-wife) with the ambassadorship to Greece.
