SQ crazies.....those are some of the most disrespectful and grandiloquent posts i've seen on this huddle or the previous huddle for that matter. I suggest you clean up that mouth of yours because you reflect poorly on yourself, Salem, and the entire huddle. You want to come on a Poland thread and slam their team and make arrogant comments that they are no better than Hubbard and will get destroyed by Mooney, then you better expect that people will become upset with you. How about wishing your fellow AAC member, Poland, good luck this week against Mooney and cheer for a team that will make your own conference look better instead of boisterously belittling Poland's team. Sorry pal, but Poland has a much better chance of taking down Mooney than Hubbard did. You are entitled to your opinion, as is everyone else, but it just came off in a very arrogant manner when you began to curse at other huddlers when they defended their opinion. I'm not disagreeing with the predicted outcome of this game, Mooney is obviously the heavy favorite and a much better team on paper. BUT, they do play the game for a reason and anything can happen on any given night. Is the probability of a Poland win high? Certainly not! Do Poland fans appreciate your dismantling comments of our team? Not so much. I appreciate your wishes of good luck, Poland will attempt to represent the AAC as well as possible. I missed a lot of Salem games this year.

I was there to see Mooney play St. V's--week 7 or so. Poland's first playoff foe.

I understand they play the game for a reason, and I honestly WOULDN'T be surprised to see Poland win--contrary to popular belief. Same reason I said I wouldn't be surprised to see Salem be able to knock off Big Red last week. Upsets happen, more often than most people realize and this wouldn't be the biggest upset of the weekend most likely. But if I had to bet money, I'd bet the farm on Mooney.

tank2nasty.....i'll even be the first to admit that the ASVSM game was much closer than the score indicated due to the 2 onside kick recoveries by Poland, another muffed kickoff return recovered by Poland, and the brilliantly executed trick play by the Bulldogs.

Not to mention, while common opponents are a way to compare two teams, it's still a bad way and you don't know jack until you get on the field. There are been SOOO many scenario's that people have come up with to prove that's a bad way to look at it--in fact wasn't Big Red/Salem vs. EL one of them? Different weeks, different game plans, different injuries/etc., different weather conditions, different fields. It really means nothing.

Big Red beat EL by 17, Salem beat them by 17.

Who played who and who beat who by more points doesn't mean crap. Mooney destroyed Lake Catholic who in return beat Canfield last week. Does that matter? Cut the crap and wait for the game. As for Salem, they had a great season and had a lead at halftime against Steubenville in the playoffs. Give the kids from Salem some credit. They came from 0-10 to the second round of the playoffs. They deserve a pat on the back.

Explain to me in detail how anything I just said shows that I have a lack of football knowledge? And then explain to me, IN DETAIL, how your logic is better than mine...especially when your knowledge couldn't even stretch far enough to do some simple subtraction.
