It was Russell mhs, though it looked like what Baez would do. Fooled me at first. Textbook base running lol

The Tribe played an absolutely terrible game last night, especially when you consider that this was a close out game of the World Series....sloppy in all aspects of the game.
I'm not sure what to expect tonight....probably a war that goes down to the last pitch. The Tribe should be loaded at pitching....Kluber on the hill, and all the key bullpen guys can go 2 +. They are just going to have to find a way to score, and not make any defensive miscues.
Other take aways....
I wonder if we'll see Schwarber still in the 2 hole.....the guy can only run base to base and really clogs things up. Fortunately for the Cubs, he was able to ride home on home run, but unless he homers, it may take three hits in a row to score him....I'm not sure the Cubs will have that luxury tonight against who Tito will have out there.
Go Tribe.

I say he does because he had some of the better looking at bats against Kluber.HitsRus;1821043 wrote:The Tribe played an absolutely terrible game last night, especially when you consider that this was a close out game of the World Series....sloppy in all aspects of the game.

I think we will know pretty early whether Kluber has it or not.

I hope so. I think he is more dangerous in an RBI position.Ironman92;1821045 wrote:I say he does because he had some of the better looking at bats against Kluber.
one other observation... Naquin has had several close calls with other fielders in the past few games and provided little offensively.... I would not be terribly disappointed to see him sit this one out.

Also I believe fox posted the stats in game 4 but kluber actually lowers his era each time he faces a team. Which honestly blows my mind

Naquin I have a feeling may be sitting for this one. However, Chiz has been no walk in the park either. No reason for the RF to come cutting in front of the CF in that 1st inning. He should be backing up, or at least peel off. Chiz has looked pretty awful in the OF for most of these playoffs as well. He started off hot swinging vs. Boston, but hasn't done a whole heck of a lot.

Agreed..Chiz hasn't looked good, both in the field or at the plate...not sure who we'd put out there though.Benny The Jet;1821055 wrote:Naquin I have a feeling may be sitting for this one. That was not fun. The atmosphere leading up to the game was incredible, and I got to be there with my favorite people in the entire world, but ugh. We stayed the whole time and we cheered the whole time, but it was brutal. And so many annoying Cubs fans around us. It sucks that so many Tribe fans sold their tickets to those assholes. We did have fun asking them about the piece of shit woman beater Chapman, though.
I feel much better about tonight, but my anxiety is still off the charts. Either way, can't wait to be there.

Chiz has been bad. I might go Coco and Rajai
Schwarber been getting on base close to .500, I like him on base in front of the others. Bryant and Rizzo are scary right now

So would you leave Chiz in RF and put COCO in LF, Raj in CF? Or screw with the whole thing and go Coco, Raj, Guyer?Ironman92;1821063 wrote:Chiz has been bad. I might go Coco and Rajai

Also, as an Indian fan...I like Schwarber in front of those guys based on the fact he's not going to be scoring on many singles from 2nd base. Like last night, they held him at 3rd when a healthy guy scores I feel like. (Obviously, I'd just rather he/anyone gets on base and Kluber strikes out 27...but whatever)

Even if he doesn't score on singles from 2nd...that means runners on 1st and 3rd for Rizzo or Zobrist. A few of those situations and it's big trouble for any pitcher.

Ehh Guyer is terrible vs. non lefties. Crisp - Davis - Lonnie. Lonnie has an arm, even with the couple of miscues out there. Has also consistently hit better.

Oh I agree..that 2-5 in their order isn't a fun stretch. Again...just K everyone and life's great hahaIronman92;1821065 wrote:I like Guyer over Chiz.

If I'm a betting man...tonight I think Tito doesn't change the lineup. If we get a lead however...that next inning I bet you see Raj come in for Naquin real quick.
