I don't think it's a must-win for Cleveland.

Up 3-2 with two games at home and your ace still left isn't a "bad" spot to be in.

That was started right after the Cavs parade. There was a Browns one as well.

Tickets only down to $685

Cubs offense is mostly inept right now. Rizzo looks good, Heyward funny enough looks good but about it. Baez looks to have given up, Contreras cannot layoff anything, Fowler lost and most importantly Bryant's swing is further away from where it needs to be than when he started the series.

David Ross will start and be a better bat than Contreras. If Baez wasn't so damn good on defense I could see Zobrist at 2nd and Soler/Coughlin/Almora in the OF to replace.

I think Maddon will try something unexpected with the lineup. Maybe something like:

1. Zobrist
2. Heyward
3. Rizzo
4. Bryant

I don't know...I know you guys hate to hear it but the enamoring over Schwarber may have been closer to the right amount than you wanted to believe/hear. Without him I can't create a lineup that produces much worry....with him it's a totally different story 4x a game. As a fan I hate not seeing him play at home and in this entire series

That was made well before the world series.

Called.

This. Merrit on a short leash with Salazar coming out of the pen.

I didn't even know it was that long ago.

I'd rather have Merritt pitch than Bauer.

With that said, we seal this up in Cleveland in Game 6. I don't think tonight will end well for Cleveland.

I'd start Merritt, if he sucked bring in Bauer but if he gave them a chance thru 5...go for it

This. Doesn't seem like Chicago is hitting the slower stuff with movement this series. Give the kid a shot, none of these guys have seen him yet.

No. Bauer.

It would not be smart, IMO, to throw a soft tossing pitcher before Tomlin. Throw Bauer who has 95 mph stuff so Tomlin can be more effective.

I see your point but feel Merritt (if can pitch to the game plan) would give Cubs 1 less thing to be comfortable about. All pressure on them...they see Bauer, they gain confidence....might never look back.

Regardless the Tribe is playing with house money tonight.

Looks like I was dead on. Tribe probably won't get this one, but roll in Game 6. Print the shirts

Get on, get moving tonight versus Lester. Did a decent job game one, but damn go almost first pitch everytime. Lindor proved you can get a jump and STILL get back if he steps off lol

Here we go. My heart says Bauer is awesome and Lester isn't sharp and we win the World Series tonight.

My mind says we scored on Lester on an infield single that went 40 ft and a Hit By Pitch and he dominated other than that and we don't touch him tonight and the Cubs could feast off Bauer again.
