Pow wowing with a couple of buddies via text. Wife isn't thrilled with the idea.Ironman92;1820001 wrote:Would be awesome if 5,000 fans from Cleveland bought up the rapidly declining Game 5 tickets in Wrigley and did what they do in so many parks around MLB.
I'd smile.
We have decided to see what happens to prices by morning. If I can get in for $500 or less...after fees...I'm in. Probably unlikely.

You'd definitely get them for that from a scalper, there's just the whole counterfeit thing to worry about.TBone14;1820008 wrote:Pow wowing with a couple of buddies via text. Wife isn't thrilled with the idea.

You or friends in Progressive watching on video board? Said only a $5 donation, looks like a lot of people and cool when Fox cuts to it.TBone14;1820008 wrote:Pow wowing with a couple of buddies via text. Wife isn't thrilled with the idea.

I could get you tickets in the lower level for under $750. There's no way my Cubs-diehard friend is going to game 5.TBone14;1820008 wrote:Pow wowing with a couple of buddies via text. Wife isn't thrilled with the idea.

We are far from out of the woods here.
Lester on full rest vs Bauer on short and Arrieta on full vs Tomlin on short.
I haven't looked up to verify but I doubt either of them have ever pitched on 3 days rest so who knows what to expect.

Agreed, this thing could VERY easily go 7 based on those matchups.

Bauer on short rest might just be better than him in normal rest lol

I'd be more inclined to pitch Merritt tonight instead of Bauer on short rest who looked terrible in his last outing.

Yeah, I remember 2007 and we had a 3 to 1 lead over Boston in the ALCS....That lead evaporated pretty quickly.like_that;1820028 wrote:Let's not get too ahead. One more game needed!

3-1 lead with our CY award winner on the bump at home. Sickening.HitsRus;1820051 wrote:Yeah, I remember 2007 and we had a 3 to 1 lead over Boston in the ALCS....That lead evaporated pretty quickly.
At least we have our CY award winner for the last game of this series...if necessary.
