It's a socially accepted thing to view sex as somewhat trivial and as mostly a benchmark by which guys can compare themselves, so there's a natural inclination to do that, but if nothing else, the kid might end up with a pretty fucked up view of what sex in a serious relationship is supposed to be. Who knows?
