No way........... I think it might be a reach for the Bengals to get him a 21
Yeah, but I wouldn't be surprised at all to see the Seahawks trade back and then take him.

I don't think Pete will make moves just to draft Taylor Mays. Seattle is sitting pretty with their 2 picks and can get great value with limited risk in those 2 positions. Taylor Mays brings a load of risks.

If they do, it is because of money. The Seahawks have handicapped themselves over the last few years with poor investments....Branch, Burleson and a few others.

Keep an eye on him. Pretty sure Heckert is a Hillsdale alum and he's mentioned Veldeer's name.

He had a couple segments on ESPN talking about how he has jumped up the rankings and could be a great steal.

Udofia is not going to do well in the pros. He might get drafted higher than he should, but we won't hear much about him after that.

I was listening to WKNR a few minutes ago and Reghi was talking about how Cleveland should consider trading down.

Is that a realistic option at this point?

Oh yeah, just got to find the right team and opportunity.

This draft is extremely deep.

He was also saying he thinks that Cleveland may only take 1 offensive player in their first 5 picks.

Not sure I'd say that.

They went defense heavy in the FA market picking up two possible starting LB's along with a starting CB.

The Browns still need a young QB to groom and then they should be drafting a RB within their top 5 picks imo.

I agree with you. You shouldnt go that defensive heavy considering all the moves that have been made.

If Buffalo, Oakland & JAX don't fill their draft needs before the draft, hell yes. Clausen will likely be there when we pick. If I were to bet, the partner could be Buffalo or JAX.

Now, as a mentioned before, if Berry AND Clausen are there and a team comes calling do you pass on Berry, with the risk of losing him, and trade down? Berry may be the best player in this draft.

Can't pass on Berry unless you get another #1, and that's still debatable.

I still am having serious doubts that Berry will be there at 7.

Browns Have Their Eyes on Spikes

On the list of positions that need to be upgraded by the Browns this offseason, linebackers would seem to fall in line behind areas such as the secondary, wide receiver, quarterback and the interior of the offensive line.

That doesn’t mean, however, that the club isn’t still taking a serious look-see at the LBs available in the April draft.

According to the agent for Brandon Spikes by way of the Gainesville Sun, the Browns are one of several teams who have expressed – and I quote the writer of the piece -- “a great deal of interest” in the former Florida ‘backer.

Along with Cleveland, agent Terry Watson told the Sun that the Eagles, Redskins, Patriots, Steelers, Dolphins, Buccaneers and Bills fall into the “great deal of interest” category.

Spikes’ draft stock dipped after a sub-par 40 at UF’s first Pro Day last month, but his instincts, toughness and playmaking ability should be enough to keep the LB from a total freefall in a couple of weeks.

Reghi is of the opinion that taking Thomas or McClain is not a stretch at #7. He says that no way Berry is still on the board by then.

Reghi is on crack and not "bringing it strong" with the McClain comment. McClain should go in the 10-15 range. Heckert should be clubbed like a baby seal if he takes a dude with Crohn's. Don't care if Garrard has the same affliction. McClain couldn't even finish his Pro Day workout due to this.

Thomas would be a big reach but I could live with THAT reach.

I just pray to god that Berry is there. I can not think of a scenario where he will be...other than trading up to get him.

I just don't want to get screwed by the Sea Chickens TWO years in a row. Last year it was Aaron Curry.

Spikes will be the Maualuga of this years draft.

A 1st round talent on the field that will slide into the 2nd round.
