Meaning he should be "locked down" to the bench so his sorry "I'm dating a gold digging hood rat bitch and couldn't tackle a Pop Warner wide receiver" ass never sees the field.

BTW...Trent Dilfer said that Bradford is not the best player in this draft and is not as good as Mark Sanchez, Matt Ryan, Stafford, Flacco, Clausen or even Colt McCoy...fwiw

Hearing that Shaun Rogers is likely looking at a one game suspension, regardless of what team he's on.

He loves McCoy. That being said Dilfer is represented by David Dunns Atletes first Firm, which also represents Colt McCoy. May have something to do with it.BR1986FB wrote: BTW...Trent Dilfer said that Bradford is not the best player in this draft and is not as good as Mark Sanchez, Matt Ryan, Stafford, Flacco, Clausen or even Colt McCoy...fwiw

Yeah, I'm kinda in the "wait and see" mode on this one. One of the guys on the OBR is saying he's heard one game. I'd be surprised if that was all.pkebker wrote: wow, one game. That suprises me, I was expecting along the lines of a 4-8 games

Who reps Clausen? The reason I say this is that he was pretty high on Clausen and kinda threw McCoy's name in there.Bluepride13 wrote:He loves McCoy. I dont really know about Clausen. I watched Kiper yesterday and he has Clausen as the third best player in the draft. The other guy has him ranked @ 38! Jon Gruden also did an interview for the upcoming ESPN draft special and was blown away by his knowledge of breaking down plays and explaining why the play either worked or dodnt work. Gruden said "I love this guy".
We have so many other needs and thats why I would pass on Clausen if he were at 7 and rather take McCoy in rd 2. With the offense we will be usuing I think Colt be be a very good QB.

Agree with the comments on McCoy. In a perfect world, Berry and Clausen are there at #7, we can trade down a spot or two to a team who wants Clausen and STILL get Berry.Bluepride13 wrote: I dont really know about Clausen. He may still be included in a draft day trade after all. I figured this gun charge put that idea to rest. One game doesn't seem possible, but then again Rapistburger can go around and fondle little girls with no problems.BR1986FB wrote:Yeah, I'm kinda in the "wait and see" mode on this one. I really don't want Rogers on the team and it's more due to how he fits the scheme than his gun charge stupidity. Don't get me wrong, the gun thing pissed me off but I'd rather see them get younger on the D-Line.

Some days I dont think we have a shot at Berry, and other days I believe we will get him. I really believe there might be a run on o-tackles before we pick which may push Berry down. Detroit definitely needs protection for Stafford and Seattle and KC need help also. I think Seattle burns us again like last year...right in front of us.BR1986FB wrote:Agree with the comments on McCoy. Its hard to really see what teams are thinking right now. There is a lot of posturing going on. Holmgren definitly knows how to stir the pot.

Seattle is the team that I think could burn us on Berry too. Initially thought it might be Washington until I heard their interest in a LT.

I think after Jacksonville and Buffalo, no one needs a QB so I don't trading spots for someone to move up and grab Jimmy boy are an option anymore.

Anyone think seattle will reach for Taylor Mays at 5? It is Pete Carroll... or he could be hoping Mays could somehow fall to him in the 2nd and go elsewhere with the 5 pick.

Diamonds in the Rough
By The Sports Xchange
Posted Apr 7, 2010
The Sports Xchange takes a look at five players at each position who could make an impact on the NFL.
The ability to nail first-round picks is what most fans grade personnel departments on. But the truly great scouting staffs generate deep drafts and sift through the undrafted free-agent pool, unearthing a few “Diamonds in the Rough.”
Below is a list of players who haven’t received the attention their physical abilities warrant. Some played for smaller schools or ended their career injured. Others broke out as seniors after being forced to wait for playing time. Still others enjoyed a great deal of collegiate success, but are mischaracterized as lacking the prerequisite skills for the NFL. All are viewed as potential selections by NFL teams, though most are unknown to the average fan.
Quality prospects including Larry English (first round, San Diego), Louis Delmas (second round, Detroit), David Veikune (second round, Cleveland), Ramses Barden (third round, Giants), Christopher Owens (third round, Atlanta) and Glover Quin (fourth round, Houston) were among the players listed in my initial Diamonds in the Rough article for the 2009 draft – published in August 2008.
Colts wide receiver Austin Collie, who led all rookies in receptions (60) and receiving touchdowns (7); Bills free safety Jairus Byrd, who tied for the league lead with nine interceptions; and Raiders defensive end Matt Shaughnessy, who finished second at the position in tackles (29) and sacks (4) were among other “Diamonds in the Rough” leading up to last April’s draft.
Over the past four years, 129 of the 160 players listed in my August edition were drafted into the NFL. The vast majority of the players not drafted were signed by NFL teams as priority free agents in the days following the draft.
This year’s second-day picks at each position could prove to be steals down the road. Among each position is at least one player not invited to the Indianapolis scouting combine. (Denoted with an asterisk)

No one should ever be looking into drafting Jonathon Crompton. He was one of the worst division 1 quarterbacks I've ever seen, and I highly doubt he has this "hidden" NFL talent.
