That's why I listed S first and CB second.pkebker wrote:Yes, but there is a priority for what positions we need, which is what buckeye is trying to say. Safety and CB must be addressed or teams will continue to light us up.Sonofanump wrote:Looks like they need everything but a LT, C and a guy to return kicks...Writerbuckeye wrote: Cleveland's two biggest needs are safety and CB.
Those are immediate needs.
They also need to draft a QB for the future, along with a LB or two to develop, and some OL for the future.
The remaining biggest need is a No. 1 WR

Scott would be a good 4th round option imo.
Haden improved his stock and I expect Cleveland to take him at #7 if Berry is not available.

Yup. Ever since Les Miles has taken over, LSU's RB philosophy has been to recruit those big bruiser backs who are tough and get you those vital yards on 2nd/3rd and short. You won't see a lot of blazers in the back field but they'll run over you.Speedofsand wrote:I like Scott. His worst game was vs. Florida. I met his parents before that game and they were great to chat with. I'd say he is a typical RB, strong, dependable, nothing spectacular but very capable of getting yards.BR1986FB wrote: http://cle.scout.com/2/954907.html

Sounds like Seattle is willing to deal Hasselbeck after the trade for Whitehurst.
It's a shame Cleveland signed JD instead of waiting a little bit.

I have a feeling when the Holmgren honeymoon is over in 8 months, you Brown fans will be calling for his head. All of these offseason moves and I've yet to see an improvement.

As far as Tebow goes, I'm with WB and would prefer McCoy.
Then you would be a dumbass

So who are the Steelers going to take since Big Ben won't be around because of his problems of taking advantage of college girls?

According to ESPN Insider's lead in, it looks like Holmgren may be having Mangini keep the seat warm for Carolina's John Fox.

You honestly think Colt McCoy is going to be better than Tim Tebow in the NFL??
If you believe that...you don't know as much as you think

I think he'll be better in a WCO. Hell, the jury is still out on whether an OPTION QB in Tebow can even consistently take a snap from under center.
And you can believe all of this smoke & mirrors about Holmgren, Mangini, etc meeting with him at his Pro Day but I'd be VERY surprised if they took Tebow.

Interesting to see that seattle gave up a decent amount for a 3rd string qb in whitehurst i wonder if the hawks were at all interested in Quinn before he was dealt to the Broncos

Given your history of abject failure in EVERY aspect of these forums, I feel pretty confident that going contrary to anything you say is probably the right call.gibby08 wrote: You honestly think Colt McCoy is going to be better than Tim Tebow in the NFL??

I'd be willing to bet everything I have that Tim Tebow has a much better career than Colt McCoy
How many 6 foot tall QB's are having success in the NFL?? One,and Colt McCoy is as good as the SB MVP

Just because you'd deep throat Tebow on general principle isn't reason enough not to question his mechanics and his ability to be smarter than a box-o-rocks when it comes to reading defenses.

Uggh, asshole....if I were the ONLY one saying this I might tend to agree with you. Not that anyone is saying McCoy is going to be the second coming but it seems like there's a WHOLE lot more negativity to bringing in Tebow.gibby08 wrote:BR1986FB wrote: I think he'll be better in a WCO. It's got nothing to do with questioning me. I've been wrong before and I'm sure I'll be wrong again. Just think McCoy is better suited to the shorter, more ACCURATE passing game of a WCO.
I don't know WHO you are but from the comments made about you by a few in a short span I can tell you're a dumbfuck who doesn't know shit.

A couple months have improved his mechanics slightly, not enough to boost his draft status. His wonderlic still sucks ass, basically, you want to look at him hitting a couple deep balls against no defense and elevate him to Joe Montana status. Ain't gonna happen chief.

The wonderlic doesn't mean shit. Brett Farve got a 22 and Dan Marino got a 16. Seems to me they turned out just fine
