Very interested in the USC@ UCLA game.

UCLA is #8 and last week before a 38-30 win over 5-6 Cal the Trojans were unranked.....if USC wins will they go from unranked to above UCLA?

It's been a nice climb back into to Playoff conversation Buckeyes but let's all agree it's over now and get on with our lives. Maybe a Cottonbowl game with TCU or NYD game with an SEC team is still a good solid season.

IF USC can win this game at UCLA and then Arizona can win at home vs Arizona State....USC will be in the PAC 12 Championship vs Oregon.

USC could go from out of the top 25 to the top 10 quicker than a Michael Jackson single in the 80's (but not quicker than an SEC team, let's not be silly).....or they could just lose by 17 tonight and drop the hell back out of the top 25.

Ole Miss will drop 3 spots, Arkansas now a top 15 team. SEC.

If Alabama beats Auburn and Mississippi State beats Ole Miss then Mississippi State hasn't beat a team with less then four losses. Auburn Ole Miss LSU Texas A&M will all finish with Atleast four losses. No way can you put them in over the Buckeyes.

If if if if...today's total lack of offense and poor defense shows the Bucks would get waxed by any team currently listed in the top 8. We do not want to slip in at #4 and get drilled by #1.

If the Buckeyes do manage to slide into a playoff spot (mostly because of the program name, the $4 Million Super Coach, and the fans travel well) OSU can count on getting drilled....probably by Alabama.

Ohio State would be better off narrowly missing the playoff's and landing a spot in either the Fiesta Bowl or Cotton Bowl where they can play a PAC 12 or Big 12 also-ran (TCU perhaps?) and have a much better shot at coming out with a win.

Then we can all get together the day after and start the whining and the "coulda, woulda, shoulda" talk.

OSU would beat Alabama by 3+ TDs. FSU is garbage. Oregon is about the only team in the top 4 that could keep up with the Buckeyes.
