Minnesota stayed ranked. That's big for OSU. Wisky is 16.

I am starting to lean to the "OSU wins out and wins out big, they are in" crowd.
The extra game will be huge when comparing them to TCU/Baylor. I'm not sure it's going to matter though, TCU will lose to Texas Thanksgiving night.

This committee can burn in hell. I know only the top 4 matter but my god these teams towards the end keep laying eggs and the teams not in the top 25 win a decent win and are bumped into the top 20?

Marshall has no one to blame but themselves.
I still do not get the move of leaving the MAC back in the day.
But, at least schedule a B1G team or something in the out years.

They have a conference....it's not good. Remember when Boise St. couldn't get anyone to play them early on? Hell the big 10 wouldn't play Marshall back in the Pennington/Moss years. I can't speak intelligently of who they have tried to schedule but them scheduling Ohio U and Akron seem quite appropriate. I have no clue why they left the MAC...it's perfect. Was conference USA one of the main conferences a few years back (I think they might have been the biggest of the non-major)ptown_trojans_1;1675926 wrote:Join a conference or schedule someone.

All I do know is if you look through their 10 games so far that Marshall not only had any hiccups but they've handed those teams their worst losses or beat those teams just like some of the big shot SEC teams. They are undefeated with no let downs.
NCAA basketball seeds teams like Marshall #3-#5. I understood them not being mentioned in the first couple.

HTF would any B1G teams know anything about Pennington & Moss 3-5 yrs before they got there when the schedules were made? Be glad your little tiny small college team is even considered in the top 25.

Lol Ironman. Marshall has nobody to blame but themselves. They have not won anything in recent history. Nobody is afraid to schedule them.

Not sure...their conference is cruddy and MAC teams like OU and Akron aren't great this year.Midstate01;1675947 wrote:Didn't I see marshall has a sos that is like bottom 5 in all of cfb?
Here is what I have on them...
Miami Ohio (2nd most lopsided home loss, 3 most lopsided loss of the season)
Rhode Island (2nd most lopsided loss)
Ohio U (most lopsided loss)
Akron (most lopsided loss)
Old Dominion (most lopsided loss beat by 42 at ODU....ODU lost at NC State by 12...NC State lost by 15 to FSU)
Middle Tennessee (most lopsided loss) Middle Tennessee lost at Minnesota by 11...Marshall beat MTU by 25
Florida International (most lopsided loss...more than Louisville beat them)
Florida Atlantic (Marshall's worst game and beat FA by 19.....FA and Arizona both played Texas-San Antonio and FA beat them worse than Arizona)
Southern Miss (lost at Miss St by 49, lost at Alabama by 40...played Marshall at Southern Miss and Marshall beat them by 46)
Rice (6-4) 41-14
At UAB next week (UAB lost at Miss St by 13)
Vs Western Kentucky (beat Navy just like Notre Dame did)
Will play 9-3 Louisiana Tech in C-USA Championship game
