I figured we might as well get this thread going. Browns open up with their division rival. Browns have won only ONE opening game since returning. Add that in with a new HC and this is a recipe for a loss.

I don't think it will be a bad loss though. Not remotely impressed with the steelers at all, and I think the Browns D will keep them in the game (hopefully tear the rapist'd acl). If the browns can get a running game going (which they didn't even try to do I. The preseason), this could be an interesting game. If it's close don't be surprised to see Tomlin trying to cheat again.

Not sure if either team is better than 7-9. Being at home the Steelers need to find a way to win.

If the "vaunted" Browns defense doesn't show up, this won't be good. If they do, I'm expecting a 13-10, 17-13 type of score and it could go either way.

Pittsburgh will have a little emotion on their side with them honoring Ohio native (PA can't develop anything good in that state, have to steal it from Ohio....even their logo) Chuck Noll.

Breowns will lose because Manziel isn't starting. Have no fear though Cleveland! Johnny Savior will start by week 3 and take us on a winning streak the Breowns have never seen!

We will finish the season with a 6-8 record and have just enough wins to squeak into the playoffs!

I will be there, 50 yard line and all.
I usually dont like going to early season games and most times just go later in the season but since my brother is a browns fan he always gets us his free tickets for this matchup. Disappointed they are not teh club level seats but lower bowl is still OK.......

I look for it to be a low scoring game, 3-2 or 6-5.
..Or it could end up like the steelers-texans game circa 2002 where the texans had less than 50 yards of total offense yet won by like 3 TD's.

Going off preseason showings, I think 3-2 is giving both these offenses too much credit. Unless the field goal is caused by a fumble inside the 5 and the field goal comes from simply not making those 3-4 yards.

How is your brother a Browns fan and you are not?

Why the hell would your brother give a steelers fans tickets? He must really love you, because if my brother was a Steelers fan (I love my brother), I would tell him to GFH with the tickets.

He gets 4, sometimes 8, tickets from his company to some of the games. ALl on the 50. 4 in row 17, 4 in the club section, and I go up there a couple of times a year and we all go. Usually it is 3 browns fans and myself. They usually dont get razzed too much.
A few friends of mine have season tickets and I used to go in with them but stopped when my brother started to get these tickets. Our season tix are/were 3 rows from the top so another buddy takes the 4 games I usually had and I use the great seats my brother gets.

I would say slingshot jinxed the Browns by making another game thread, but the Browns haven't won more than 5 games since 2007. Maybe this is what we needed.

Still no news on the new drug policy. Not surprised Goodell is dragging it out and trying to throw in some petty policy right before the deal is done.
