"Babies who go too long without eating could become dehydrated."
yes if they go too long without eating obviously its bad. delayin a meal for an hour isn't gonna cause some type of catastrophic damage

Out in public all day long. Shit. Gonna have to breastfeed in public sometime through the day.

An hour? What if they are going elsewhere after the restaurant? Then what? Still gotta feed in public.

It's going to cause a hungry baby to cry and scream for an hour. Would you like to listen to that while you eat?

Then you have no business going outside your house. Duh!

We need a law that said mothers aren't allowed to leave the home until the child is 2 years old. This way no one will be offended by seeing a boob. No one will be annoyed by a crying baby. The first 2 years are so important. Mothers should concentrate on mothering and not eating at a restaurant, going to a mall, taking a walk in the park, etc.

It would seem to me the entitlement comes from those that expect the vast majority of other people to adjust to their habits. The term "outlier" is apt here. Not to take this to the politics board but part of the problem with the US is that we've allowed the outliers to dictate our society.

Nearly all mothers know how to breastfeed properly, and to those who don't then they can and should be subject to criticism. And even though I've seen enough boobs to last me more lifetimes than I wish to live, to answer QCB I would not want my 11 year old son to witness what I did. It was inappropriate, and more importantly not necessary. In first world countries you don't have to whip out full boob to breastfeed your child in public. Judge me if you will, but my wife is laughing right now reading this thread.
