I tend to look at decisions some times with too short a view......game or even series. He better be thinking overall impact for the season. It is frustrating though.

I agree. Lonnie is playing the best ball we have ever seen from him offensively. He is seeing the ball well. If you are ever going to see if he can play everyday (ie, versus lefties) it needs to be when he is swinging a hot bat and get some confidence. Yeah, he seems to have really worked on what the coaches said he need to work on. Even last year he was much better in stretches. But you have to love the fact he is going the other way with some conviction and not just flailing away with 2 strikes. He still doesnt really take a ball with 2 strikes, but he swings the bat like he expects to make solid contact, not just flailing away cause he was afraid to go down looking like before.HitsRus;1607734 wrote:Hey, Lonnie has worked hard.
