Sounds like Schiano might have another shot at the B1G. Turned down Penn State and bolted Rutgers before they joined.
Nebraska people are claiming Tressel is in Lincoln.

Rumor is that Michigan will let Hoke participate in the football "bust", which is basically their year end banquet. That might be taking place next weekend.

Just fire his ass already. Enough with the "high morals" act.

I see it playing out one of two ways.

They hire Tressel and Frost as the OC and head coach in waiting. Or they hire Frost directly.

Everyone knows Frost is eventually going to be the head coach at Nebraska. Some just aren't sure he's ready yet. Tressel would help ease him into a head coach and after a few years hand him the headset.

Correct me if I'm wrong but Tressel still had that show-cause penalty doesn't he?

Tressel isn't coaching in Nebraska and he sure as hell isn't coaching knowing he's only there for a year or two to "groom" an up and coming young coach.

He would have to miss the first five weeks, no practice either and miss a bowl game. IF they did bring him on I'm sure it would be to help Frost along.

I have Michigan fan friends, and some of them are calling for Tressell in Ann Arbor. LOL. Ain't happening. Not a chance in hell. With Bo, I can see it, b/c he was an assistant. No way in hell does a former OSU HEAD coach go to TSUN ... unless, of course, he plans to pull of the most amazing troll job of all time, and run them even further into the ground!!!

Maybe not.

I think he wants to coach again but needs someone to give him a chance to clear his name. Him and Tom Osborne are good friends.

It's possible if he wants to spend a couple years there and then get another power 5 job afterwards.

Agree. No way in hell. Also the fact that Michigan claims to have the highest morals on earth, so why would they hire a guy let go from a program sanctioned for rules infractions.

From my experience with Tressel and what I've heard, he is done with coaching football.

He won't coach again. He's got a nice gig as President of YSU.

After watching this weeks games does anyone think Oregon will be beaten? Honestly I'm thinking maybe Baylor can but we'll see, Alabama has no idea how to stop that offense still and Florida State is just not that good

Past history says that Oregon looks like gods until they play an actual tough, physical team (ie: why they always seemed to have trouble with good Stanford teams in recent years). I'd imagine that in the playoffs, they'll run into one of those. That is, assuming they don't wind up having an 0-2 season vs. Arizona and not make the playoffs.

Even with his best buddy Jesus riding shotgun, Jimmy The Liar doesn't have the courage to coach in the B1G again. He's perfectly happy being a "used to be big fish" in the mud puddle which is YSU.

Oregon has taken care of business lately. However, how many times over the last decade has that same sentiment been echoed in a regular season? We've seen multiple times that in major, major bowl games, their potency isn't nearly the same.

Arizona already beat them at Oregon.....but fortunately Oregon probably have to face a team like them again.

Take off the Scarlet & Gray glasses boys...it was a nice run and they earned some respect after getting waxed by VT but the party's over. I kinda wish they didn't have to play in some No-name bowl because they'll probably lose that too w/o a QB.
