You don't redshirt guys that can contribute. If Thomas was being redshirted, then in Meyer's eyes, he wasn't ready to contribute. For the past two season's, we've seen Thomas absolutely DOMINATE the off-season, just to do NOTHING (whether it's a redshirt or simply just riding the bench) come the regular season.

You forgot to mention that completion % was 59%...lol! He has 5300 yards passing in 3 years, averaging 1766 yards per season. Zero 300 yard games passing in his career. He's a great runner, but when teams have the athletes on defense to make him throw the ball, it's bad news. I agree, he did light up some bad defenses though this year, and also was bad against some terrible defenses.

His dad said he tested positive for a small amount of X. And he was originally suspended for the entire season. B1G considers it a performance enhancing drug. NCAA says it's a street drug. That's how he got it down to 3 games. Also the family is suing the B1G.

And against the 3 top 25 pass defenses OSU played he was 47 of 73 for 521 yards 7 TDs and 0 ints. 64.38% and 155.97 rating

His father, Greg Spence, says Noah tested positive for a small amount of ecstasy.
It's standard procedure for every player to get tested prior to the Big 10 championship game, and Spence's family says he was shocked when his drug test came back positive.
The family says Spence unintentionally took the drug when he was given an open drink by people he didn't know at a party.
His father says the Big 10 originally suspended Spence for one year because they consider ecstasy a performance-enhancing drug. The NCAA considers ecstasy a street drug, which carries a lesser penalty.
The family appealed and the suspension was dropped to three games

So I heard three players walked off the field after the Braxton intercwption with over a minute left. Two were seniors one was an underclass men. Does anyone know who these players were.

You were listening to Bishop and Rothman as well lol.

Beau wouldn't elaborate, didn't want to "out" the players. To that I say, he's a *****. Don't say that and then not say who it was.

This. In addition to being a talk show guy, he's supposedly a reporter. That story is either too unimportant to mention or you have an obligation to tell the entire story. Either would be OK by me, but the middle ground is weak.

Yup. I have a feeling that the station might have said no though. He usually doesn't hold back. Who knows.

So if he was 3rd all time at say 50%, that would still be good cause it's 3rd all-time? Nice logic. Let's be honest OSU isn't exactly QB U.

Haha exactly, we've only been a 65% run team for the 100 years before Troy Smith

You're right, osu isn't qb U, but you bitch about Miller like the next Tom Brady is going to come walking through the door.

Also if he was 3rd at 50% after 107 years of the forward pass being legal I would say that the program has a lot more to worry about than our 2 time silver football winner

59% is pretty bad after 107 years.

There's no way he wins this. Big ten will probably go digging and find that he download a movie illegally and kicked out of school or something

They didn't even need to say anything else on the issue. Just serve the remaining 2 games and shut up.

The way I'm reading it, it sounds like the big ten is actually saving his butt by only making 3 games. NCAA wanted to make it a full-year. I wonder on what grounds his family is suing on?

The fact that he had something slipped into his drink?
