He had a triple-double in that game, which was great and all...except for the nine turnovers and 38% performance from the field. 19 rebounds is the only ridiculous (in a good way) thing he did in that game when you consider his points came off volume shooting (27 points on 21 FG and 12 FG attempts) and his assist/turnover ratio was poor.
Who else was going to make a shot? That team was garbage. If you watched the games and legitimately thought he quit, then you're delusional and you don't understand basketball. Period. I guarantee you could sit down with every great coach and player that ever played, watch the tapes and they'd never say he quit. Boston was just a better team, period. Why is that so hard to understand? Everyone flipped out about Miami's Big 3...you realize on top of Rondo you had 3 of the NBA's top 21 point scorers..EVER. Boston was just better. LeBron tried to do it all himself because no one else stepped up--that's what happens when you do that, especially against a great defensive team. You shoot a horrible percentage.
It's really just pathetic that this conversation is even still happening.
