Liriano to go against Cueto in what I'd expect to be a pitching duel. Pirates seem to struggle a lot against Cueto; while Liriano has been tough to hit at home (huge ERA difference even though the only real performance difference is that he gives up more line drives on the road) and is brutal on left-handed hitters, of which the Reds' offense has a lot.
If Liriano gets into trouble or whatever, the team has Cole ready to eat innings out of the bullpen, as he wasn't needed on Sunday. And he was as good as any of the team's pitchers down the stretch in September, so that's a positive.
Just need to offense to keep clicking like they were during those final regular season games and for the pitching to keep kicking ass. About the only scary thing is that the only poor pitching effort in their season-ending six-game road trip was Liriano's at Chicago.
