Yes, I hate the Braves. I'll bash them whenever it seems like the right time too.
Just checked them. You're right again. He has great stuff after the second inning.

Pretty sure Puig strained his left quad while busting it to 1st on a routine grounder in a 10-4 game in the 7th inning.

NEWSFLASH:
America's Greatest Baseball Team Ever (Did you see that line-up, WOW!) is currently losing 2-0 to Oakland in the fourth inning in the third game of their series, which is tied 1-1. It's only taken Oakland's pitcher 34 pitches to get through the Greatest Lineup In History over those three innings.

They were also shutout in game 2. Scored all 3 of their game 1 runs in the 1st. I have no clue how they have done it, but they held this line-up scoreless for 20.2 innings. Right until the V-Mart double.

Holy shit! Detroit woke up and remembered that even they have to actually show up to win games.

Three runs in the bottom of the fourth and they're still batting with only one out. Apparently, Parker only had good enough stuff to fool them once.

Ah, Detroit does have a good line-up, but it's not some historically great deal like Classy makes them sound like. When Pittsburgh beat them 3/4 games in the middle of the year, they had two 1-0 11-inning shutouts.

Brandon Moss gives the As the lead again at 4-3 in the top of the fifth. Turning out to be a good game.

Make that 6-3. Leyland kept Sanchez in for too long, much like Fredi and Teheran last night.

Oh well, enough of this Detroit-related foolishness, time to move my show to the Pirates thread for the rest of the afternoon.

Wow, almost bench clearing brawl in the ninth. Balfour, and Victor Martinez exchanging F bombs on the audio that was picked up.

What exactly happened to cause it. Saw the video on Deadspin and the commentators acted like it was Balfour's fault, but Martinez stared him down after the pitch. Did something happen previously?

Nothing that I know of. The announcers just said that Balfour likes to talk a lot, so I guess Martinez got pissed at something he said, and that started it.

Rays had chances to prevent the 2nd run by tagging Ellsbury coming in to 3rd and to home, but he escaped both times. Cobb made a tremendously good play covering home on the WP and would have had him out if Molina wouldn't have pulled the throw 2-3 feet.
