Adams swung at the 2nd and 3rd pitch instead of the 1st one which was the best one to hit by far!

Just unaware of how postseason baseball is played. He's not facing the Reds anymore.mhs95_06;1525264 wrote:Adams swung at the 2nd and 3rd pitch instead of the 1st one which was the best one to hit by far!

Will Beltran get to actually hit tonight in the 9th with the tying run on the bases or in him himself?

Yes, watching these post season games really makes it stand out how far away the Reds pitchers and hitters are from being actually competetive for a world series.Ironman92;1525267 wrote:Just unaware of how postseason baseball is played. He's not facing the Reds anymore.

Home plate ump has called balls and strikes very well tonight, but robs Carpenter of the benefit of his good eye there!

Another poor call was the first called K on Carpenter on a cutter that went around the plate.mhs95_06;1525274 wrote:Home plate ump has called balls and strikes very well tonight, but robs Carpenter of the benefit of his good eye there!

In the fateful 7th for the Cards, the 2nd worst thing Wainright did(behind the terrible 1-2 pitch Ross hit for the big hit) was not pitching aggressively to Drew after getting to a 1-2 count.

If I was a Cardinals fan I'd be pretty pissed off right now. Unbelievable that they haven't scored.

Pretty cool the FOX microphones caught Molina (during Papi's AB) turn around and tell HP ump Jim Joyce "this guy is unbelievable"

No more Tim McCarver after this series???
About 15 years too late for me....I couldn't stand him for ten years.
He doesn't even bother me anymore.

Gomes was the guy Wacha needed to get out to get out of the 3rd, but the HBP was costly!

Why couldn't Wacha have had a game like this in Game 4 against the Pirates? I hope his damn arm falls off and he wins up homeless living in a dumpster now. That bastard.
