Cardinals had 2 hits, made an error and won.
Fuck them.
Fuck them.

And the Cards get their 1-0 win using 5 pitchers and take a 2-0 lead. Now need only one win of 3 in LA to come back home needing 1 of 2 to go to the WS.

Didn't even know the NCLS was on this afternoon.
Tigers pitched an absolute gem. That was really really impressive by Sanchez, and the staff.
Going to be a fun series.

I swear we need a clock or something, ha that game took way too long. 4 hours for a 1-0 game? That was rough

Who actually thought any of the ALCS games would be under 4 hrs??? I said earlier this thread it would be the most unwatchable series in a long time. 1-0 and it still took that fucking long, I pity anyone who made themselves suffer through it lol.

It was tolerable. Since I was extremely drunj and with friends where we were constantly flipping back and forth between the game and college football during commercials.Laley23;1517196 wrote:Who actually thought any of the ALCS games would be under 4 hrs??? Actually sitting down (semi) sober to watch that game with undivided attention would be less preferable to messy suicide, though.

I seriously agree. 25 seconds from time pitcher receives ball.Classyposter58;1517168 wrote:I swear we need a clock or something, ha that game took way too long. 4 hours for a 1-0 game? That was rough

Majority is on pitcher.Classyposter58;1517249 wrote:That or batter cannot leave box
With the clock.....if the batter is farting around out of the box, pitcher can pitch.

With no intent of coming off as racist....I'm probably gonna.
The NLCS has 6 white umpires.
The ALCS has 5 whites and Alfonso Marquez
I pray the World Series isn't manned by CB Bucknor and/or Kerwin Danley, who IMO are the two worst umps in the league. For the World Series I want the 6 best, but if they must be politically correct I guess throw Laz Diaz in there...he's not top 6 or probably top 26, but not lost like Kerwin and CB.

Now that it is blown open, will it go any faster?

Looks like Bucholtz coulda been throwing more than one pitch per minute. Totally lost control and the Tigers feasted off himmhs95_06;1517565 wrote:Now that it is blown open, will it go any faster?

Grand slam ties it. Hunter made a great bid to catch it with 2 out, but over-ran it a bit in RCF and wasn't able to get his glove on it, even though it looked like he could have!

I've never been a big Torii Hunter fan but the effort he gave on the grand slam is how you play the game.

My new playoff rule.....if the starter is still looking good, the starter stats in regardless of pitch count.
