It happens a lot. David Price lost today and John Lackey was the other starting pitcher.Azubuike24;1513109 wrote:Not wrong. I'm talking stuff. Mike Minor doesn't have the stuff that Greinke had. Sure, the Braves won. It happens. Teheran is the only one.
When the Dodgers win the series, make sure you stay around in the off-season.

Barry Zito and Andy Pettitte have had very successful postseason careers with poor WHIP's, low strikeout totals and above average walk totals. There are metrics for how pitcher's will do without fielders but there is no metric for how a pitcher responds to having a runner on 1st and 3rd with 1 out in the most pressurized situations.

And calls one play wrongly twice, that nets it correct, a K! Swing and miss(maybe) and he calls it a foul tip caught for the out, but it obviously hit the dirt.Ironman92;1513358 wrote:C.B. Bucknor doing a game behind the plate in a playoff game is inexcusable.

Three series tied at 1-1, and the other with the home team up 2-0. Hope there will be some good game 4s.

Detroit explodes for 0 runs on 4 hits against a guy most baseball fans have never heard of before.

I don't understand this post. I refuse to believe that sick ass lineup could ever produce so poorly. Conspiring with Vegas? Someone please tell me before my head explodes.Ironman92;1513717 wrote:Detroit explodes for 0 runs on 4 hits against a guy most baseball fans have never heard of before.

Cardinals didn't hit him greatly but battled Liriano for 101 pitches thru 6 to get him out of the game and the Pirates battled Joe Kelly to 85 pitches thru 5 1/3 to get him out of the game.
Hopefully the next Reds manager understands how this works in the playoffs.
And Marlon Byrd has been a great addition....hopefully Walt understands this next time.

Martin missed the squeeze bunt.....
This IS the best game on. Not the arena bowl NFL game.

Pirates up 2-1 in the series.
Moderately odd that the Pirates haven't been good since the Steelers last really sucked in the very early 90's....now it's oppo

Yasiel Puig just unleashed a throw to hold Upton at 2nd after a Freddie Freeman single. Didnt end up being a highlight, but it wouldve been if Upton hadnt slammed on the breaks.

Ryu usually gets better as the game goes. Teheran is on pace to be done by the 4th. The Braves better add a run here and get it close because I don't see LA letting up offensively.

Tough pill to swallow allowing a HR to Crawford at the state he is in his career now. He's basically an opposite field singles hitter.

Ryu looks strong to quite strong in this inning. Good call.

This game shaping up to be the baseball version of that Denver/Dallas game.

And he'll probably get out of this without giving up a run but still

Other than the Upton rip, hard to say Ryu has been bad this inning. Gotta credit Gattis for that at bat...

And again. Two huge mental errors by him to turn what should be a 4-3 game after the top of the third to a tie game with only one out.Heretic;1514074 wrote:Oh, Ryu...you fuuuucccccckkkked up.

Check his numbers on the year after the 2nd inning. It's not my opinion on whether he gets better or worse. Not sure why you keep pointing it out.
Yes, I hate the Braves. I'll bash them whenever it seems like the right time too.
