Jackson .272
Hunter .304
Cabrera .348
Fielder .279
Martinez .301
Infante .318
Peralta .303
Iglesias .260
Avila .227
5 guys with significant playing time above .300 and 2 others above .270. That's pretty damn good and a pitching staff that set the MLB record for K's in a season
I mean, lets compare to the 2 teams I mentioned.
Jackson .272 - Elsbury .298 - Crawford .283
Hunter .304 - Victorino .294 - Ethier .272
Cabrera .348 - Pedroia 301 - Ramirez .345
Fielder .279 - Ortiz .309 - Gonzalez .293
Martinez .301 - Napoli .259 - Puig .319
Infante .318 - Nava .303 - Uribe .278
Peralta .303 - Salty .273 - Shumaker .263
Iglesias .260 - Drew .253 - Ellis .270
Avila .227 - Carp .296 - P ???
Granted I dont know Boston or LAD line-ups like I know Detroits (in terms of who played all year), but way to conveniently list a line-up who has played 3 total games together lol. Detroits bottom 3, any combo of Garcia, Santiago, Dirks, Kelly, Tuiasosopo, was terrible.
The LAD line-up is with Ethier in it, because he played almost all year. Not with Kemp, who was out over half the games.
