Where did you hear this?

Sources tell me that Carlos Hyde punched a baby and then is now fleeing in a white Bronco.

What interest would Ms. Drayer still have with the victim's father? Doesn't seem like a conflict unless there's more to it.

I honestly don't see anything different today than it was a few years ago with Irrizary robbing people, or the one dude having child **** and running drugs, etc.

Ohio State is one of the few universities that is right in the middle of a major metropolitan area, so you instantly hear about any underage ticket or minor thing.

My good friend in high schools dad was an all American center for Woody. He told me you'd rather be caught by the police than Woody.

I figured it out myself. It was easy to figure out who the victim was given the details that have been reported about her father, in addition to her friends incessantly tweeting about both being her friend and the incident. In addition, a quick search discovered that a Dispatch reporter tweeted her now locked account asking for details about the situation.

When I googled Mindy, one of the first things that came up was her putting on her high school reunion. When I googled her class, a classmates.com yearbook came up and sure enough, about 10 pages away from each other were two seniors, herself and the victim's father.

I think that since they are both prominent members of a small community and graduated together, then it is likely that their paths have cross quite frequently. To me, it calls into question the reliability of her report that was already questionable given her speculation. I find this irresponsible, possibly unethical.

That's a lot of work, man lol just let the facts come out, and UM will do what is necessary.

It was probably a little pathetic on my part, but the alternative was finishing my dissertation. It's surprising how interesting other work seems when facing that alternative.

I'm not even sure that is Mindy Drayer...and if it is, its a terrible pic of her. Some days she can be smokin hot.

She throws Carlos under the team bus here. Very credible description of what happened. Punch or Slap...he's gone for a few games at minimum.

Show me the video rather than a stupid f*cking play by play diagram. I know they can't, but srsly that Drayer video was a waste of time

After the evidence of the video contradicting the victim's story came out and this not quickly going away, it seems that this is complicated and not something that will just drop quickly (mainly that this isn't just her punching him and him walking away, but most likely her taking a swing and then him retaliating).

This situation just sucks all around.

You give UofA Law a bad rep if you think credible tape analysis is "a waste of time".

He was merely pointing out that in a situation where there are numerous conflicting reports, seeing a video of the incident would be more helpful than another conflicting report.

Hey genius boy let's do a comparison on credibility, multiple choice style: What's more credible?

A. the actual video

B. video analysis from multiple people

C. video analysis from someone who has a known relationship with someone close to the situation, who was possibly given access to a video that is part of an on-going investigation

Since you're so smart, I don't need to tell you that part of the law is destroying someone's credibility. And since you're so smart, I don't need to tell you about the prevalence of bias.

Sh*t son, maybe you should teach my law school classes since you're such a f*cking genius.

BTW, I also don't need to tell you that the answer is A, with B being the next best choice.

Do you have an obsession with Mindy or something? Sorry, just because some news woman you deem to be bangable says something doesn't make it true.

The actual video footage would be more helpful at this point as there are conflicting reports about what the footage captures. Now it's possible that she is accurately reporting what happened, but it's also possible that she is wrong. Guess what would help to clear that up? The video as lhslep requested.

Yeah, totally credible, objecting personal opinion and having a personal connection to the alleged victim's family. I have no doubt that you know Drayer somehow and feel the need to stick your nose up her ass.

OK Aticus Finch...lets look at what was presented here in the OC courtroom. You said it "was a waste of time", recognizing that the actual video is evidence in an ongoing investigation and thus unavailable at this time. However, a newsroom employee very familiar with analyzing tape and knowing her broadcast testimony would be highly scrutinized at a later date when the tape indeed becomes public, gave a very credible account of what she witnessed on the tape.

Boom Roasted. ...and yeah I'm available to teach your class at Cactus College Law anytime.
