Sounds about right. I'm pretty happy with the way Urban handled this whole mess.

At least 3 games. Could be longer if Urban isn't happy with him.

This is bullshit. Now Urban has conscience? I want Florida Urban. No charges, no punishment.

Was the right call. Can't make any physical contact with a woman. Especially if you're a damn football player for Ohio State.

Hyde's an idiot. Dumbass macho ego couldn't just let it go.

But 3 games isn't going to do anything to him. He'll be back and I'll love him on the field.

I literally said nothing about this. I just called you an idiot.

Three games seems about right to me. Obviously Hyde made a dumb decision by retaliating instead of just walking away, and he'll pay the price for it. My guess is he'll be on good behavior and do everything Meyer says in order to be back by Game #4. Glad to see that this ordeal didn't ruin his entire career, and hopefully he has learned a lot from it.

As for Roby, I would expect 2 or 3 games for him simply because his altercation was with a bouncer and not some teenage girl. Still stupid, but kind of different circumstances since a woman wasn't involved, whether that's fair/consistent or not.

No way Roby gets suspended for 2 or 3 games. An "altercation" with a db bouncer should not sit him for that long. IMO, he shouldn't even be suspended a game at all. Consider ND with Michael Floyd - he received his THIRD alcohol offense, a DUI twice the legal limit, and he didn't miss a snap. Oh wait, but he had to live in the dorms for a semester. Smh

Are Roby's charges gonna be dropped? If so, then maybe he won't get suspended. If not, I think Meyer will sit him for a couple games.

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I think Meyer is pretty pissed and looking to put a stop to incidents like this.

3 games seems reasonable enough, but I couldn't believe people were still calling for him to be completely dismissed from the team though.

I don't necessarily agree with a lot of Bertrand Russell's perspectives; however, I find this quote appropriate.
"The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser men so full of doubts."
But I will, reluctantly, give you the benefit of the doubt, in this case, since I had just made reference to your bragging.

I agree also with 3 games, but in the video its clear she went at him 1st, and to me it looked as if he was trying to get her away, if he would have stiff armed instead of thrown the hammer, he would have scored the TD. In my opinion....

After watching the tape, I stand by my comment that you never hit a woman. That said - man I can understand a momentary reaction, especially if alcohol is involved. I thhink the sentence fits the crime. The woman involved better STFU too. I guess the lesson is if you're an OSU player, being in a bar at 2 AM is dangerous. That's not fair, but it's the price to be paid.

I'm with everyone on here that said the three game suspension is appropriate. Now, let's get this Roby thing wrapped up and get on with talking about the season...GO BUCKS!!!

3 sends a message. Missing 2 games (at home) doesn't really stop this from happening in the future IMO (well, not THIS, but similar dumb decisions) but making Hyde stay home for the road game against Cal send a strong message.

If Hyde was white. Kicked off the team and possibly out of OSU. Helps to be black sometimes.

No racism, just my opinion.

You mean like Storm Klein, who was re-instated? He's white.

Don't let facts get in the way of your IPOTW

With a name like that, you will surely get re-instated.
