Unbelievable. Their constituents must be so fucking stupid that they have absolutely no concern for others to perceive them as credible and reasonable.

Like I said, pandering to their supporters and it doesn't matter with non-supporters think of them. Hopefully this won't distract Eric Holder from his IRS investigation.

What an idiot. People just don't care about facts and evidence. He was defending himself from what he perceived to be death. He shot to save his own life. It was the heat of the moment, you don't think about shooting him in the leg when your head is getting bashed in

BTW the worst part of this case was how bad most people looked when cross examined who testified for The prosecution. They did him a disservice by out right lieing on the stand. If they would have been factual and not embellished their story they would have been more believable. Instead they went on the stand and lied and tried to paint the picture they thought would win them the case making their own testimony completely impossible to believe.

One of my other classmates posted the screenshot on facebook and said, "My classmates and I have very intellectual debates regarding the Zimmerman verdict and its implications." Now everyone he knows is calling her out as a racist and whatnot.

Ok, was just looking at CNN this morning, saw LZ Granderson had an opinion piece. I wanted to see how far he went off on the racism card as he tends to do that for the articles he writes that are sports related. It actually wasn't that bad and he does seem to focus on the fact that young black males are dying at a unreasonable rate, are getting sucked into bad life style choices (gangs, crime, and eventually prison) and that something needs to be done. He also focuses on the fact that most of it is black on black violence and ignored by the media.

As others have pointed out on this thread, this (black on black crime/homicide) needs to be made the issue.

Zimmerman's brother was just on CNN. Called out the media and the attorneys for using the race card lol and basically calling out the people giving the interview

He really handled that well. He brought up how he was ashamed that the media ran with the race issues without looking at the facts. Cuomo tried to counter with something along the line "isn't it reasonable to ask questions about the case?" It was a subtle way to throw it back that the media was trying to get to the "facts" while disregarding Zimmerman's point of the race issue. The point is if the media went after the facts, then the race issue, and likely the entire trial, would have been avoided.

I have seen 2-3 interviews with him last few days, he is very well spoken. Handles himself very well and is consistent in his message

Social media last night made me fear for the future of our country. God damn people are fucking ignorant, and racism goes many ways. I couldn't give a damn who won/lost. Zimmerman and TM are irrelevant to me.
