I wouldn't argue there. Need more families willing to be involved..to coach, to volunteer, to lend their time.
It does seem to be about following a winner. Nobody wants to drive to Ashland to see us get drubbed. But when we were playing in the state semifinals against Poland in 1999, I swear we filled the entire home side of Fawcett Stadium.
Got a peek at the roster today...about 35 boys in 10th - 12th grades. And that's assuming a few upperclassmen that have said they're going to play actually do. A few always seem to drop off during the summer or move away.
We'll be lucky to have 40 kids and that's including dressing ALL freshmen.
