No no and no.Commander of Awesome;1405199 wrote:If you guys coudl redo last year's draft, would you take Tannehill at 4 instead of TRich?
I am not that impressed with Tannehill (comparitively). Weeden had pretty much the same year QB wise as Tannehill and we got him much later in the 1st round.
Tannehill is no Luck and never will be (Weeden neither) but I would expect Weeden and Tannehill to have similar careers. So no, I would not want Tannehill at #4, I like TRich a LOT.

Well Cribbs to Arizona. That sucks, I usually root for the name on the front of the jersey not the back. But with that being said I will always root for Cribbs, a class act.

Ehh, he was a class act, but good riddance. It was time for him to go. A step slower, and annoyingly complained about contracts. He's not that good.shook_17;1405373 wrote:Well Cribbs to Arizona. Same. He turned into a slight bitch in his last couple years in Cleveland, but he was definitely the most electrifying player we've had for a few years there. So exciting when he'd get the ball on a kick off. Wish him well.shook_17;1405373 wrote:Well Cribbs to Arizona. That sucks, I usually root for the name on the front of the jersey not the back. This was the browns problem.. most electrifying player in years was a kick return specialist...SportsAndLady;1405377 wrote:Same. Mary Kay broke the story that he was going to Zona. But Jason La Conforta is now saying he is not signed and they are not even close on a contract.

Ummm, that Groves highlight film was more exciting than a Cribbs highlight film last year.

I could see the division with no team better than 10-6 and no team worst than 7-9 this year.BR1986FB;1405040 wrote:I just think right now is the "perfect storm" for Cleveland & Cincinnati. Both of those teams are young while Baltimore took a big hit (losing players) and the Steelers keep using their restructuring "credit card" with players.

The browns need to seize the moment. The ravens just have me shaking my head. That contract they gave Flacco is killing them right now. 5 starters gone on defense and if Ed Reed leaves that's 6. Wow. Steelers they are getting old and in cap hell too. The Bengals struggle putting back to back solid seasons together. I can see the browns and Bengals running this division if we play our cards right. Ahhhh how refreshing that would be.

Cribs himself was tweeting thank you Cleveland and shit, so he's pretty convinced he's gone

^^ saw that. His agent says he is playing the field. Patriots were interested too.

Am I the only one that thinks Sheard is gone for a second rd. pick by the end of the week?

^^ yes. Honestly Id be pissed if he is traded. Why create another need? Our front seven looks great so far. If they want to draft a olb with the number 6 pick that's fine. You can never have to many pass rushers

Don't be surprised to see him out and Dion Jordan drated at 6. Especially after the Groves addition. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Rubin and a 3rd sent to Pats for Mallet. McCoy is gone too

Cribbs was a great Cleveland guy. In due time he will be one of those guys all cleveland fans will always show love to despite not being elite.
Right no, good riddance. Not even close to being his former self(gblock will tell you otherwise lolfail), and he was kinda being a bitch this year.

Supposedly, the issue was that the Browns DID want to keep him and offered a higher than average deal for a "special teamer." Cribbs & his agent didn't see it this way, wanted more years and more money per year, scoffed at the offer and walked.ts1227;1405401 wrote:Cribs himself was tweeting thank you Cleveland and shit, so he's pretty convinced he's gone
As was mentioned, I agree with those who appreciated Cribbs in his prime. He was electifying and one of the most feared in the game. He was essentially the only player the opposition had to game plan for. But then, he got his "pay the man" campaign going and always took his bitching to the media. That's when he fell out of favor with me. Right now, he's not much more than a good special teams gunner. He's lost his burst. Travis Benjamin time...

Hypothetical question...was anyone pissed, or did you really notice, that Jimmy Haslam wasn't there as the "face of the franchise" to hand Kruger his jersey at the presser yesterday? Seems that some believe this is a sign of him being "Randy Lerner Jr." I personally couldn't gaf.

Yeah, I know that Banner has that Napolean Complex thing going on but at pressers he should either a) request that all people sit at all times or b) get a box to stand on when he has to stand next to these 6'4"+ players.CCRolly;1405454 wrote:Banner looked like a hobbit standing next to Kruger.

on the QB market, continue to hear Vikings really like Cassel, Campbell could
stay in CHI or go to CLE. Thigpen to SF makes sense to me
