Damn, looks like Keenan Lewis is heading to NO. Very reasonable deal to.

yea bit disappointed as a Browns fan. I just don't want to use a pick on Milliner.
Matt Miller ‏@nfldraftscout RE: Milliner. I worry about a CB who has never had to backpedal. Don't see great COD skills on breaking routes. May be very scheme specific

Has anyone heard anything on the Greg Jennings front? Do the Browns still have interest? I read that he will probably sign a 2-3 year contract worth between $7-8M a year based on what Welker and Amendola signed for. I would definitely like to get another playmaking wide receiver to line up opposite Gordon, and I like our odds with those two guys working the outsides.
What are your thoughts? BR? like that? Commander?

Yes please..need another receiver to go with Gordon or I don't think he'll have the year we all wanted him to have

That's kind of the way I feel. I don't think we have the compliment on the roster necessary for him to have a successful season without us bringing in a threat on the other side of the field.SportsAndLady;1405883 wrote:Yes please..need another receiver to go with Gordon or I don't think he'll have the year we all wanted him to have

I dont like it because Greg Jennings has proven he can't stay ont he field. Anyone who's owned him in fantasy knows he's a *****.

Last year he was out all damn year. But I dont think he has a season under 13 GP other than that. Doesnt he have like 16/16 in 4 of his 7 years?Commander of Awesome;1405892 wrote:I dont like it because Greg Jennings has proven he can't stay ont he field. Part of me would take him, but part of me thinks Aaron Rodgers made him better than he actually he is. If it's a short length contract though, then why not?Dr. KnOiTaLL;1405877 wrote:Has anyone heard anything on the Greg Jennings front? Do the Browns still have interest? Weeden will likely be close to what Rodgers is, now that he's in Chud's offensive system.like_that;1405939 wrote:Part of me would take him, but part of me thinks Aaron Rodgers made him better than he actually he is. If it's a short length contract though, then why not?

Geoff Schwartz is expected to sign with the Chiefs today. Sucks, I would have liked to see him playing next to his brother. I never heard anything about us being in contact with him.
If there are no bigger targets left for the Browns and the rest of our activity is depth signings I see CB/OG as the biggest need heading into the draft. I would say TE too but I'm holding out hope still for Fred Davis or Brandon Myers.

So...the anti-Weeden bashers will get a major chubby for this...apparently 2 WR's have snubbed the Browns because of the "uncertainty" at the QB position. Yet Jennings will likely sign with Minny who has Ponder & Cassel?

He should be deciding within the next 24-48 on whether it's the Browns or Skins per Lane Adkins (OBR).shook_17;1405945 wrote:Any news on the Davis front?

Why do you continue to call us Weeden bashers? We don't think he's a good QB (as in, the QB of our future). You literally just admitted you're starting to think that, too. Just stop w/ that.BR1986FB;1406044 wrote:Not at his current pricetag.

Oh, c'mon...every chance you get to take a potshot at him you do. Even when you started the 2013 NFL thread you took a dig (usually the age thing) when he's not one of the top players in the league. He's a non-factor when compared to the top players in the league. It's like talking about the top MLB players...Votto, Pujols, etc and then tossing out the name 'Drew Stubbs."SportsAndLady;1406069 wrote:Why do you continue to call us Weeden bashers? I'm not sold that he's the future of the franchise but I would like to see him get another year versus plugging in some reject that was out there (Fitzpatrick, Mallett, etc).

Yeah but I take shots at him because of his play, or age. You take shots at US because we don't happen to think our QB is any good. Big difference.

The only one I take "shots" at on here, for the most part, is you and that's in retaliation.SportsAndLady;1406082 wrote:Yeah but I take shots at him because of his play, or age. You take shots at US because we don't happen to think our QB is any good. Big difference.

I'm saying when you call us Weeden bashers or McCoy nuthuggers. Its so stupid to group fans who dont particularly like one QB just because you happen to like it.

Jaws foaming at the mouth after Geno Smith's pro day. Now saying he may be the #1 pick in the draft (via KC trade down).

Knew this was coming...I know a lot of you guys don't like him, but if we could get the first QB off the board at #6, it'd be great value.
