I'm glad Roby said it now, just good to get it out of the way.
I will be shocked if Braxton leave. With the progression he's made between this year and last, and the team he has coming back....would be a dumb move IMO.

Braxton will be back. I could see Shazier going.

I'm leaning that way as well.

Roby said this would be his last year back in April. This isn't a new revelation. I don't think Braxton goes. Also, I would expect Shazier to go, but I wouldn't be surprised if he stays. Just seems like a kid that really loves playing college football, and his teammates mean a lot to him. I think his family is pretty well off to, so that may play a part in his decision.

I think it would be a bad move if Miller leaves because I dont believe he has convinced pro teams enough. Yet.
Maybe after next year that will change as he as been making strides big time.

I agree. Roby was thinking of leaving last year and came out and said this would be his last. So this is not at all surprising. I would be shocked if Miller left. But stranger things have happened. I have a feeling Shazier will be back as well. I am sure both he and Miller will put out feelers for their draft position at seasons end. So that could be telling. And a lot could hinge on how this season unfolds for the team as well. Leaving on top is a lot easier than leaving with a bad taste in someones mouth.se-alum;1540379 wrote:Roby said this would be his last year back in April. This isn't a new revelation. Last I saw, Braxton was the 12th rated QB. I don't remember who tweeted it; but if he is that low, he better be back in Columbus.

Let's hope Shazier pulls a Mike Doss and sticks around

I think it would be a mistake for Shazier to come back, but it's a mistake I'd be excited if he makes.

Some websites have him as the highest rated OLBse-alum;1540613 wrote:I think it would be a mistake for Shazier to come back, but it's a mistake I'd be excited if he makes.

Yeah, I was gonna say I am assuming he's good as gone; but if he wants to stick around, I'm all for it. Urban did say today that Shazier needs to get bigger, stronger and faster. So maybe he knows something we don't lol.se-alum;1540613 wrote:I think it would be a mistake for Shazier to come back, but it's a mistake I'd be excited if he makes.

Not sure he needs to be faster. Thats what really seperates him right now. But his frame is a bit small for playing LB or DE in the pro.wildcats20;1540628 wrote:Yeah, I was gonna say I am assuming he's good as gone; but if he wants to stick around, I'm all for it. I don't doubt that at all. There are hundreds of websites out there rating players and doing mocks, so they're usually all over the board.LJ;1540614 wrote:Some websites have him as the highest rated OLB

One thing that could help is that this is a loaded QB draft.wildcats20;1540456 wrote:Last I saw, Braxton was the 12th rated QB. I don't remember who tweeted it; but if he is that low, he better be back in Columbus.
I think Shazier is gone though. IMO, his dad seems like he would push the kid to go.

???Ohio State might have to play a freshman defender who hasn't played yet this season due to plethora of injuries.

The quote is incomplete. I listened to the call in show last night and he specified "on special teams" so really it could be anyone.
