Voting for the POTUS is such a polarizing exercise in this country and it seems to carry so much stigma as to who we are as Americans...it occurred to me that those of us who did vote for BHO are probably intrinsically smarter than those of you who didn't. Why? simple...America loves a winner. We always have and we always will and we want to be part of that Winning. Definitely smarter to have picked the winner.

???

Interestngn question. I couldn't imagine voting for who I would think will win but rather voting for who best represents my views. I am in the miniority so my candidate didn't win.

Ideologies change from a macro perspective with cutural shifts and societal needs and desires.. One's not more correct that the other but rather a reflection of desired approaches and outcomes. I'm not sure subscribing to one has a difinitive indication of intelligence. At one time most people thought the world was flat. They were on the "winning side" until proven they weren't correct.

There have been some stupid ass threads, but this one definitely near the top of the list. This is just as idiotic as non saying steelers fans are more knowledgable because they are a winning team.

Why should I? my team is the only 10 - 0 team in the country. And yes I do believe Steeler fans are on majority much more intelligent than Browns or Bengals fans. Winning is part of the DNA of intelligence or vice versa. LOL all you want to... but if you voted for Romney today you are questioning your cognitive thinking and decision making abilities...and if you aren't you either should be or you're not intelligent enough to do so.

As you can see I'm feeling rather smug today...

Soooo OSU fans who are also Browns fans. Are they only knowledgeable about football on Saturdays? How about the people who voted for Obama, but also voted for the governor/senator/congressman who didn't win? Are they half smart and half dumb????

Please explain this to us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes...but that's my endearing style. You try to portray yourself as being "above all that...". Everybody expects me to be an asshole, so its ok.

I don't try to portray myself as anything other than myself. Especially not in the basement.

in voting for Obama, people showed that they were more compassionate, more tolerant, less greedy, less selfish and in general more decent human beings than the Romney supporters.

I'd be willing to bet the average Romney supporter is smarter than the average Obama supporter.

I prefer protecting American civilian American servicepeople. not the terrorists who prepare for killing Americans while using their family, friends and neighbors as human shields
