Since it appears I'm now automatically "removed from the discussion" on all ND threads in the CFB Forum...

Pitt had that game served up to them on a silver platter not once but twice last night and somehow managed to choke the victory away. I saw nothing in the last 5 min of reg and 3OTs to suggest ND is a top 10 team but I did see the biggest gag in history since Mama Cass swallowed the chicken sandwich by Pitt.

The Refs let Notre Dame thug slapp Pittsburgh "holtz" in the face in OT so that would have sealed the victory for Pitt if the Refs woulda called it.

The PI was a terrible call on Pitt. Other than that, I really don't have much to say about the game. The point of CFB is to win games and ND won the game.

The answer is both. There's no other possibility.

ND can't win if Pitt doesn't lose it.

Pitt can't lose if ND doesn't win it.

look at the stats from the game and try to somehow say Pitt lost the game. they were completely dominated in everything except for stupid penalties and turnovers. they were lucky to be in the game at all. good game good effort. sorry etb.

If teams know that pollsters are whom they need to impress before they play, then no one is undeserving if they get voted in as the team that impresses the pollsters.

Nd played a shitty game...it happens, but Pitt gave it away the last 3 minutes of regulations. You know it is a shitty series when your best play was getting sacked...Lol

I agree. I will also say ND has been very lucky this year, but thats part of the game.
