Liking what I see from JV too. Few kids there combined with Luke, Joel, Trevor and Bryce and we should be ok next year.

JV's looking like a scrappy bunch who don't give up and play until the end. Another good effort from them and a 3 at the end to pull out a 44-41 win. It seems like teh JV's have a winning record or at least close to it and have been in almost every game to the end.
Varsity is struggling to put 4 quarters together and seem to run out of gas in the 2nd half without enough scorers, the shots seem to not connect.

The last 4 or so games I think we've played to our ability and played hard. Luke Smith has especially played better and looks like he can create a shot. It was a close game tonight and we lost by 3 to Wooster, but we out hustled them all night.

That is cool and should be done more often IMO. Even if they just went Varsity boys and girls together. I know that gets tricky with kids play JV and Varsity but it is fun to watch that way.

Neer's transferred because they thought they wouldn't play here. Guessing he'd be playing plenty if he'd have stayed. I'll never fault a family for making that choice though.

districts will be a crap shoot....we still haven't lost on Wooster's floor in a tournament game...EVER. But it's going to be tough to string together 3 or 4 wins in a row, but there's no dominant team there, at least not among area teams. Gonna be a lot of low scoring, sloppy games this year....and even with maybe 3 or 4 wins to our name, we'll still be on everyone's radar as THE team to beat.

Still 3-time defending districts champs until someone knocks us off.
Perhaps their parents wanted to improve their quality of life by moving to a wonderful cedar home on the golf course. But who wouldnt want to give up the new home just to play Orrville BB? BTW WH won 3 of the last 4 meetings with Neer starting both his junior and senior yr...makes one wonder how you know what he was thinking?

Thats fine. We will keep winning District titles and going to Regionals without him! Enjoy the cabin!

Thanks for the info...must be a relative of the family to know what kind of home they're living in....enjoy the cozy shores & warm climate of Millersburg. Like I said...never going to fault a kid or a family for making that choice...and not dogging his choice either...just saying it would have been interesting if all the kids that made other choices would have stayed.

That being said...I'll take the kids that DID choose to stay and choose to be Red Riders any day of the week.

Same subject matter as his 1st and 2nd post. Defending family. I get it. Still don't see where there's anything to be offended about...but whatever.

He is offended that neither of his grandkids had any part of BOTH of our District Titles that we have won since their departure. Enjoy the cabin!

What’s the Amish saying grandpa, a horse that craps fast doesn’t crap long; check back next year when that senior class that you moved into is gone. Enjoy the cabin!

District draw is Sunday. We've got @ Madison and home vs. Northwestern tomorrow. Real shot to get to 5 wins before the draw.

Even if we lose both, we'll be the most avoided 3 win team in any district tourney draw.

Sorry Redrider I LOL'd hard on that. I don't disagree but read that again and tell me it does not look funny.
