I don't mean this to be a troll but it should probably be in here since we're talking about the huddle.

Obviously there's no comparison nowadays.. OC is light years better than JJ huddle. But what about the huddle from 99 til the point of self destruct a few years ago?
Memory might be favorable in a sense to JJ Huddle since it was a lot more active and was more than just a general chat forum. But even back then the mods were assholes and very cliquish. Not to say that I don't think the mods aren't cliquish here, but they're not blantantly biased like JJ huddle was.

So does old school JJ Huddle get the nod with the activity and differenty variety of chat, or does the OC get the nod with the better moderating?

I'll take OC any day of the week, as far as rules go. But I wish there were more local sport's talk. Maybe Mike Clark can help with the sport's talk.

JJ Huddle was great until like 2007. Even before they self destructed in 2009 it was already pretty bad and they just brought it to the level that killed their site when they forced about 90% of the posters away.

Two things:

2) Look at who runs the sites. It's a no brainer, regardless of content. Justin by infinity.

Did JJ ever claim to be doing anything because of principals? And I don't think Justin set out to be the fun police, he's just trying to make a little money for his trouble or at least cover his costs.
