I def am not an iPhone fan, but everyone including android has changed their adapters. I have had android phones since the G1 was released and the chargers have changed at least 3 times. This is pretty much the first time the adapter has changed since iPods first came out. Some of the connectors in the 30 pin were obsolete.

Android is just an OS. They don't really control the charger port. And I'm not sure they've changed. Yeah apple has used the same adapter since the I pod first came out. I dk why they would change it all of a sudden. I think it's dumb on there part
