But seriously, I'm looking forward to pre-ordering tomorrow. One step closer to getting rid of the horse abortion of a phone that my Evo has been. Unfortunately I can't get a 3GS for my wife. She'll have to settle for the 4S.

Yeah, I mean I'm sure watching youtube on LTE is going to drain it a lot quicker than that. That's probably 8 hours just browsing websites. But still, it's going to be far and away better than my Evo.

I expect at least a little bit of innovation not a revolution.There is nothing innovative at all about this new phone. I get it, they sell far too many iPhones for them to take risks with the formula. So at this point we likely will never see the type of innovation that we did up through the iPhone 4 from Apple in the phone space until they start seeing sales decline. They can't justify the risk. That's why we didn't see anything like NFC in the phone. Apple will play it safe for as long as they can, and I can't blame them from a business standpoint. But it's still disconcerting from a consumer standpoint and from the view of someone who really likes cutting edge tech.

Wait for 6 months and there'll be more "upgrades" for the new version of the iPhone 5.

I hate Apple and its cult. No sense in spending that much money on a phone that gets outdated in 6 months. It's dumb to fall into that technological trap.

If I could, I'd stick with my BlackBerry forever. I enjoy its functions and features. I just need to call, text, and email. An occasional tweet or facebook or Streak for the Cash update...and I'm good. Not really anything more or less.

I love my I phone not because it's apple but because it is a dependable phone. I have had an I phone the last 3 years and have never had a problem with it. I probably won't get the 5 and just upgrade my 4s to ios6. I'll probably end up getting the 5s though

I tried the first-gen iPhone. Glad I got rid of it, won't ever go back...hopefully.

Yeah, I realize I am in the minority here. But, I really like it for the capabilities I listed. I like the keyboard MUCH better than any other keyboard I've used. There are some quirks though...

Mark me down for missing the BB keyboard.

I'd like to see RIM get bought out and this phone designed...

Complete internal overhaul, their exact keyboard from the new Bold 9930, running Android, larger/better screen and touch capabilities, better camera.

I am sure this isn't a deal breaker for some but it is still odd they aren't doing voice and data at the same time on the 5.

I may jump off the android ship one day, but I really like my Razr and this announcement hasn't changed my mind. I assume they'll have a new iPhone within a year or so, something like the iPhone 4S
