Simple. Which members add the most value to the forum? Which members keep the forum ticking? Which members are the reason adsense even considers this a place to advertise? Which minority acts less like a minority and more like a person?

I'll start with O-trap. One post alone has enough keywords to index 95% of Google searches.

Honestly, as someone has stated before, every (regular) poster adds value to the site. Sleeper annoys the hell out of a lot of the members, but he keeps them coming back to argue with him. Hell, same for isadore (just threw up in my mouth).

The ones that don't post often, or limit themselves to certain topics... they even add value, because they are the ones who are more than likely asking their friends to join up, to talk about local sports, etc.

I can agree with this. Except isadore. That guy is the worst.

Isadore does have one use: it's one of a very few things in the history of this site that has temporarily shown the ability to unite most of our users...all against it.

As for this topic, it depends on the forum. In the Politics forum, there are a slew of people that add a lot of value, and I'm not sure any is head-and-shoulders above the rest. Belly, Believer, stlouiedipalma, IWP, gut, Footwedge, ptown_trojans, FFT, BoatShoes ... they all add good dialogue whether a person agrees or disagrees with them on a given topic.

In SB (ie Shoot-the-Shit), it's a free-for-all. I don't think any one or even couple posters stand out.

In the Basement, I see a lot of engagement from sleeper, dlazz (or aliases), ETB, COA, like_that, RDI, and even Justin.

This site is a true sum of it's parts. No one poster is too valuable, but all posters carry value ...

... except isadore.
