All I can say is...

Maybe. I'm not sure if the initial step was WCM member going off on mod, though. Impression I got was that things on the non-basement WC football thread got heated in some way, shape or form and WCM-mod and possibly other mod (who focuses on that forum, more or less) cleaned things up in lieu of allowing possible infractions to be handed down. Which apparently was the wrong thing to do in WCM's eyes. Which is strange, since I'd think that any mafia worth anything would at least be bright enough to (a) have friends in high places AND (b) understand the importance of using said friends to clean up potential messes before people in high places who aren't so friendly get wind of them. Apparently someone missed the memo on "b"...

I guess that as a BRINGER OF SUPER-JUSTICE for this site, I could figure out just how all the players in this little...uhhh...drama?...no...comedy, definitely comedy fit into the story so far, but you know...I'd rather chill and catch a nice little pre-Labor Day buzz. Priorities, friend, priorities.
