Obviously there's no perfect measure of "best", but the top Ohio schools in terms of average starting salary laet year were:

1. CWRU
2. Universty of Dayton
3. Miami
4. tOSU

Once again, thank you for validating my diagnosis

I can assure you there's nothing to be flustered about. Ohio State doesn't have to prove itself to anyone but the alumni who enjoyed the best 4 years of their life at a prestigious academic and athletic institution. There may be some detractors(aka liberal arts majors) who hate OSU, but their hate should be directed at themselves for being stupid enough to major in something worthless. You won't find many OSU grad's complaining about not finding work; and those they do, probably should have just went to Miami, where the rest of our garbage goes.

Ohio State is a research institution focused on improving the lives of its students and enhancing the lives of others. Money is not the concern with OSU grads; that will come. Making an impact to the world is the #1 focus. I am proud of what OSU has accomplished in its history and I was one of the lucky ones who gets to not only make an impact but also be well compensated for that impact. When Miami can boast about being an institution for global good rather than short term greed, then we can put them in the same book as OSU, but because of their scale, probably the appendix.

Stellar research. Well, stellar and irrelevant. OSU has more money than all of those schools combined. Therefore, in the marketplace for talented professors, OSU can hire the very best of the best. Sorry, poor metric and poor findings.

Yet they turn out graduates who underachieve in that same marketplace. How is that?

Well, he's already pointed out (correctly) that everything isn't about money. I'm very impressed, for example, with the four Nobel Prizes won by the tOSU family, as are the 16 such winners from CWRU. :)

Please spell out the name of CWRU. I don't think anyone outside of Cleveland is aware this school even exists or what that stands for.

I would only be flustered if it mattered what the masses(read: non-OSU grads) believed. OSU only owes itself to the thousands of alumni who are making the world a better place, one student at a time. Case Western Reserve University only cares about the elitist who'd rather talk about greatness than actually achieve greatest. Sad really.

A. Those who use "An" were probably dropped as a baby.

Correct English states to use the sound, not the letter. Honor has an O sound, it's an that should be used. When the word ONCE is used, it has a W sound, so a is used.

The 100% employment rate among its graduates (with the highest average salary of any school in the state) would tend to indicate that someone knows about it.
