Seems like this country is more divided than ever. Was there ever a time in history where its been this bad?

I think it needs to end, but I think only some sort of monster event will make it subside.

It can be the best and greatest idea ever and automatically one side will hammer on it. It sucks. When Mr Bush was president the whacko's were non stop criticizing him and all of us normal folks would get pissed becuase they would nit pick and never give any credit at all and place all the blame.

and now that the whacko's have their guy in office the normal right thinking people are doing the exact same thing to the whacko's.

The normal people complained when the whacko's were at it, so why are they doing the same thing

things would be great if we just had a party who followed the constitution, didn't get involved in every countries foreign affairs, start ridiculous wars, believes in fiscal responsibility as well as accountability and freedom and civil liberties for all. Things will never change as long as we accept that the two party system is the only way to go.

If only there was a party like that...............................

I think politics right now are affected by paralysis. What we need is a non pussy up there worrying about election to get shit moving. The fact that the country is about to go over the "fiscal cliff" so to speak at the end of the year, yet no politician (republicans included) are willing to commit on it, let their ideas be known on how to fix it, because of the election is a fucking joke. Nuff said.

We had Ron Paul but he was labeled a cook and a racist because some guy wrote a pamphlet for him 20+ years ago that said black people are good at basketball.

This country deserves what it gets.
