We can't have a grill at our new apartment, so I'm left with a stove top or oven.

What's the best way to do this, steak masters?

My complex took our grills away this past January, sucks but I kept a little charcoal grill I still use :)

That said, broiler works just fine

The Wife has a grill pan she uses on our electric stove. It works out pretty good. On occasion she'll use the oven depending on the cut of meat.

broiler works good usually you will have to raise the steak up a little closer to the burners. You can get grill pans and use them or even cast iron does a good steak.

To seer(that spelling is probably all fucked up) it + an oven to finish it off. That bitch will smoke but it can be done and done well.

In an electric frying pan with a little Italian dressing, temp at @250 degrees, searing both sides and then letting it cook slowly until it's the way you like it.

I'd say f*ck the apartment complex and use a really small hibachi charcoal grill.

Keep your grill and just take it out to the parking lot, you can grill out in your parking spot.
