I got an infraction for writing this:
I'd tell you to ask LJ because he worked at a Verizon store for a couple years and was the key person in bringing the iPhone to Verizon; but that is offensive to LJ, our most valued member and moderator.

This place is a joke and its not because of the trolls its because of JJ style moderation.

Might as well be permabanned. I have no interest in posting and/or reading "What did you have for lunch today" and "Look what I bought" threads; which are pretty much the only allowable threads on this forum. Judging by declining revenue and post count, this place is dying.

Site is dying according to who...you? I've seen a few posters come back in the last couple of weeks, and I'd guess the post counts haven't changed much either.

You say the problem is moderation, while others will say the problem is posters such as yourself.

Harassment? I think I'm with sleeper on this one. He's cut the LJ profession stuff way down(in the SB forum at least). I usually get a laugh out of it and really, is it that big of a deal?

Well that's all good and well, except for the part where he was told to cut it out entirely or he would receive an infraction.

Yet, he continues to do it, gets infracted, then bitches about getting the infraction.

Of course, sleeper logic tells you he was unjustly infracted due to bad moderation.

IMO, it's gotten stale, and it's not funny anymore. It had it's time, and now it's over.

The thing is, other members (myself included) make LJ posts and nothing happens besides the posts being deleted. I've had "expert LJ" posts deleted on two separate occasions and never received an infraction or warning.

No, but using a joke that you were told to stop using or you would be infracted is infraction worthy.

The thing is the rule is do not CONTINUALLY harass a member. Making a post or two isn't breaking rule #2.
