Might not be a bad idea. Google is, ultimately, the reason that "everything" can't be let go like it used to be. That precedent changed because of Google writing Justin an email threatening to suspend his AdSense account unless he cleaned shit up, as I recall.

The rules here, though not perfect, are a necessary evil in order to keep the site functioning. As Justin is trying to get AdSense back (or he was the last I heard), it wouldn't be the best idea to give them ammunition.

However, I do think this topic could potentially be re-entered if the site was able to gain enough sponsoring to make it not need AdSense. Ultimately, I hope that happens. I don't like having the rules that are in place, but I get why we currently have them and why we need to.

I admitted I'm a casual NFL fan. I apologized for my "trolling" done in the Browns thread. I understand what I may consider funny (my Browns to the CFL comment) some hard core fans like yourself may not approve.
