This is a thread to discuss strategies for eliminating racism.

My first idea is to stop making race the reason someone gets or doesn't get something. Once we stop referring to people as black/white/cuban/latino/hispanic/puerto rican/zimbabwe/Canada and realize that people are just people we won't have to deal with the idea of racism ever again.

Step three: Repeal Affirmative action and the notion that diversity is good. Hire the best people and accept the best people to your school regardless of race.

We've been thru this. You still have not shown one bit of evidence supporting your claim that Affirmative Action perpetuates racism. Right now, all you've done to this point is stated your opinion.

Typical. It's got about 30 articles and research embedded in the bibliography. There is a ton of evidence out there, keep your mind closed though, that works well.

Yes, a few anecdotal examples are conclusive proof that racism is gone and any claims of racism are simply people trying to get something they don't deserve on merit.

So says the white kid who was born on third base pretending he hit a triple.

People in this thread do not want to talk about fixing racism. I'd love to hear your ideas or links to your evidence backing up your claims. No no, can't do that, let's just attack sleeper.

I never said white people are victims.

I'd love to see how any rational human being defend Affirmative action as not being a racist policy.

Racism will never end. As long as people believe they are owed something for what happend 150 years ago its not gonna end. As long as the news gives attention to these events like they do it will never end. People want attention whether it be from the news or people around them. This is just my opinion so let the attacks begin.

Well for one, they can't be president. Nor can they vote. And they can't go to college for free. And they can't get a job, nor can they afford a new iPhone every week. I just really feel bad for minorities, especially those in those born after the 1970's, its a shame slavery is holding them back; those times were tough.
